I love this so much. The part about acceptance is huge. If you fear rejection that can make it tempting to compromise, but you have to make a choice to please others or God.

I love this one cause consistency is something I’ve been trying to implement into my daily life but I catch myself slipping up at times and I’ll beat myself up but also when making any transition have grace on yourself . Stay alway from what will throw me off that anything that will compromise my discipline towards that goal I’m trying to achieve , thank you for this message again .

For me to combat the want to compromise, I have to remember my why. Why I started this discipline or new habit in the first place. I have to recall the bigger picture, like remembering much of things I do now is not just for me, but future kids and generations after me.

This really blessed me! I had one of those days and fell out of my routine. But hearing these reminders lifted me out of that space. Hearing that this is not random, this is my assignment to become everything I was created to be! Thank each of you 🙏🏽

Wow thank you Generation One, for sharing this conversation about compromise, it spoke to me. I know growing up I was constantly compromising and up until three years ago I had to stop and reflect on the way it was affecting me in an unhealthy way. My mental, emotional, financial, and even physical became effected so much so that I lost myself in the process. It started with toxic relationships, serving, all the way into motherhood. Although I sometimes fall off and comprise, I am reminded of the negative effect I don't want to go through if I continue to compromise, it's not worth it. Now I am more intentional, I am on a journey of healing, growth, and educating myself to be who God created me to be.

Amen this is so on time! God wants us to pick a side!We have a purpose and we can either choose to walk towards it while relying on God to help us through the hard parts OR we can go through life never fully becoming who God wants us to be! I've definitely compromised before but no more! Consistently compromising leads to failure in the end so I gotta keep going! And we all have to keep going forward everyday! Little by little! It all adds up to something big! It all adds up to success!

Hi guys. Question. What work would you need to do on yourself while you're away from the people you used to hang out with to ensure that you get to a place where you can assimilate with those people again? For example, in the example you gave about drinking, I understand taking yourself away from situations that might be tempting you to go back, but what work do you need to do on yourself to ensure that you can go back to those spaces and it have minimal, if any, impact on you?
