DIY Drones With Yr Voice and a Pitch-Pipe

Grab a set of pitch pipes like those used by guitarists, and sing into them. You’ll hear loads of beating frequencies and sidebands, but also, you my ears, subharmonics similar to triggering a Serge slope generator, MATHS, &c. at audio rates if you’re singing the right notes. It sounds to me like a physical analogue of a common synthesis technique that I intend to explore further.
