This game only has one down side that I don't like...the beginning...just...having to watch the cat fall into a seemingly bottomless pit and limping and collapsing...x_x
I prefer to have a slightly less graphical game if it means I'm getting a game that runs well and has a nice story. I played it on PC, Playstation, and now im gonna play it on Switch 😅
@@celestecu We are in 2024 it's time people start to know the difference between PUBLISHERS and DEVELOPERS. Stray is made by BlueTwelve Studio. Annapurna Interactive was their publisher for Stray, they didn't dev anything. Publishers are here to PUBLISH, promote, market, help financially... BlueTwelve will be fine, they probably will be able to find a new publisher. Now, big devs are also publishers of their own games and some publishers own dev studios.
I didin't get Stray when it was launched because I've waited it's coming for Nintendo Switch, but why it taked so long over 2 years? Gotta say Stray looks surprisilly good on Switch: MEOW! 😻
Wow, if you ask me, you shouldn't have waited. It looks so much better on PC and console, and the game's aesthetics and graphics are probably the best things it has going for it. The gameplay is quite basic - the platforming is practically point and click.
the reason it took 2 years is cus the switch is weak hardware so taking what is a graphically taxing game and downscaling it for a smaller box probably wouldnt be something you could do in a few months
Fun fact, the devs hooked motion capture things to their office cat to capture the movements of the players character! The more risky and dangeous moves were animated though.
It look so great and you can interact with almost everything with the cat and even destroyed it still interact with the environment. You have to trigger the camera at walls to get a black egde on the screen meanwhile the head of the cat stuck in the wall but you have to force to get such results. The highness of the level of the cat make an amazing atmosphere. I guess i am at the start of the story and like to see every possible place. I don't know what will coming but until the first 4 to 5 hrs i'm impressed of so many great shots where it look more like a movie than a videogame on Nintendo Switch. Noone can tell that the console is the reason when s game look bad.
I have this on my Series X. Bought the physical for the switch For myself And my sister who is a giant cat lover That happens to also have a Switch. I'm excited for her to play it.
I hope to find a physical version of this game being sold by Nintendo but i suspect thats not gonna happen. Well i better settle for tne digital version later on. Shame to hear they're doing nothing with the hd rumble.
They are hard to compare, one is a puzzle game with light story the other is a interactive story with puzzles on the side. Personally Stray has a better story and is more immersive. However is not a happy story, so if you don’t like dark dystopian stories you will not like Stray.
Been enjoying the game so far, though there are some questionable design decisions with the horde styled enemies (would have liked to be able to tune those as frankly they were very enjoyment breaking when you got stuck and couldn't get passed them.) But so far so good.
@IndohNintendo Believe it or not other than the nostalgia and being a Marvel fan that was my first thought behind the physical copy so I appreciate it even more. I'm like man this thing isn't going to be available in a while. Especially in store and price will go up.
It's not really a Nintendo Switch game; it's built for an entirely different platform. If it were built from the ground up for the Switch, it would look and feel so much better.
It looks and runs like unoptimized trash compared to actual modern hardware. Only buy it for the outdated Switch if you have no orher option available.

That was so painful to watch, I almost cried 😢
And the ending.
@@Scrubber89 ...I need to go back to the game, I stopped for some reason half-way through. lol
It's such a good game but incredibly sad. That's why it is so hard for me to want to play it through again.

I loved Stray on the PS5 and will probably pick this up again on Switch to support the devs. The game is so charming!
Be quiet we are not talking about ps5 here
But the devs have all left Annapurna due to a dispute with the owner, so…

I’m getting it for Christmas 👍 been wanting this game since the reveal in the Direct.
Played it on PC, truly beautiful game and amazing soundtrack.

Completed this on Xbox series x earlier this year and I’m already half way through it on switch!
It’s fantastic port and I love it well worth £20!

What was the German word you mentioned? I didn't catch it.
Wanderlust
I'm wondering should I get Marvel versus Capcom fighting collection physically or this 🤔
Chances are MvC physical copy will shoot up in price in the near future. Get that before they inevitably sell out.

I was so ready to overclock my mariko switch for this…. It turned out completely unnecessary.
I really liked Stray but I likely won’t pick it up until it gets a decent sale. It’s not the most replayable game out there

Man i really wish the switch 2 launches soon with a switch lite form factor so that i can play all my old games in better resolution
They must have improved it over the past few months cause it looked like ass when they showed it off on switch the first time.
Definitely not worth the price
Mother nintnedo after almost 8 year its still powerful unfortunately ps5 is not next gen PS4 is still better
Played on PS5 when it originally launched, and I also feel the downgrade. 🥺 Such a fantastic game though, it’s hard not to recommend
Most people won't have that version to compare it to so it's fine for how it is. Point is moot when you take that into consideration
no its not worth 40eur
That's an opinion. This game was so worth it for me. I never played it before and I love it

Meh, mid game honestly, I'll buy MySims instead.
Bee simulator for 1euro from eshop was far better....
