Hey guys!
In today's video I'll be showing you how I went from a nasty faded green hair colour to a deep, dark pink using NO BLEACH, just some logic and reasoning.
This is just going to be a cover-up/quick fix until I get all the products for my NEXT Big hair transformation, just so I won't deal with the un-kept green look.
I used Crazy Colour's semi permanent hair dye for this look
. I featured how my hair looked before, and after, both in natural & syntethic lighting.

I know that this video is only 3 years old but it's reassuring to see that I could cover my faded out teal hair with a pigmented magenta dye. And having it to be able to turn into that beautiful color of yours. Hopefully, the dye that I chose (Color Lux: magenta) will do the same magic.

Yesssss I feel the same way about the gloves! My hands are purple right now. But I hate the feeling of the gloves when I’m touching my hair and I literally can’t separate my hair with them on. It makes my hair get all tangled up when I’m trying to go through the sections. Your hair turned out amazing! Mine is currently wrapped in a plastic bag I’m watching this while waiting to rinse. I hope it turns out half as good as yours! 💕

So your video inspired me to give it a shot too! I didn't use the exact same products as you, but I put arctic fox wrath + virgin pink over my green hair (about the same shade and brightness as yours), and got almost exactly the same color. Do you remember your ratio, roughly? I am testing with 1:2 wrath to virgin pink on a test strand, processing as I post this. My test of all virgin pink ended up royal blue (makes sense since my hair is a bit more faded than OPs, making it closer to cyan and cyan+magenta=blue x.x)

Loving the colour, it's a very good idea to neutralize blue tones (it's the worst colour to fade out)

I use vinyl gloves when I wash my hair because they don't grip and slide through the hair whereas latex gloves tend to grip the hair.

that shade reminds me of when I had purple rain from arctic fox and it faded and when I also used wrath from arctic fox
I also dye without gloves. Only Stains your hands for like 2 days and I'm a stay at home mom so that isn't a problem for me.

Hey girl! Love your videos! My hair is currently teal, a little lighter green compared to yours. My question is, how did the purple start to fade? Did the teal start showing through?
Hey love! The purple faded back to green, (first silver, then green), this is more of a temporary fix. Some people will have it fade to blue too. It also fades very quickly because it's a cover up and this brand's hair dye fades extremely fast.
how long does crazy colour take to come off? or start fading?
didn't really want fushia hair but anything is better than blue/green. i put manic panic "cleo rose" on faded violet night. violet night started to turn green and pink for me has always been easy to come out, now im sitting here with magenta/fushia hair!

I don't like to wear gloves either. Just wash your hands first with dish soap right away to get the first layers of dye and then take a few cotton pads put %91 rubbing Alcohol and rub the rest off.

Damn Adore Indigo Blue faded teal/green on you? It looks so pretty! But on me that shade faded a purple. The Crazy Colors Black dye you mixed with your Adore Indigo Blue probably had some green to it.

Today I dyed my hair denim blue... and I hate it... so I am going tomorrow to grocery store to buy a pink color and put it over the blue... and I am soooo excited for the purple!!!

I usually hate videos about hair and make up. I love your chill personality and accent. I had gorgeous natural blond hair....and then I was going through a lot ( my dad just died less than a month ago) and dyed it Teal by Colorista. It is now light dingy green and I miss my gorgeous blond hair....but I am not willing to wait one more day to get it "fixed". Ive done pink before on my blond hair and it was gorgeous...every step of it washing out was beautiful....but with greenish blond....who knows what it will look like.....here goes some more impulsivity. :)

How long does crazy colour usually last for you
Incase the hand staining ever bothers you; Have you tried using alcohol wipes to remove the dye from your hands? They’re super cheap :).

I have a black hair and I want turn it to Grey or white using this product.. Will it actually work?
If your hair is black nothing will happen to it, if you have a colour like mine you can be able to cover it up by using its complimentary colour. Like how purple shampoo turns blonde hair silver
how is it after the first wash? cause I have green hair faded from a blue tint and I have tried to put crazy color (pink) and it has become lilac but as soon as I wash it they turn green.
After the first wash it did fade quite a lot since this dye is pretty cheap, it was more purple, unfortunately it will go back to green
Did it fade out decently or did you keep reapplying the pink? Mine is so faded blue as much as it will come out so I think I'm going to jump and do this today
eventually it will fade back, just like any other semi permanent colour. Mine had faded to a pink purple ish colour and then the ends faded pretty quickly to blue, and then back to green - but when having a blue base it will always fade back to that colour, and like any another hair colour you have to keep re-applying so it doesnt fade, its not an issue if you want to keep the pink, but if you want to change your colour you would have to either stick to cool colours only (purple/blue/green) or lift the base in order to get ride of that residual blue and green tone

My hair is a bit darker blue ( more pigmented) with a tint of green, should I bleach it a bit first before going red? You’re very gorgeous btw (:
if your hair is still in pretty good state and you can afford to bleach it / bleach wash it then yes you should before dyeing it red, thanks :)
