@@EncorePPFtint we’re located in Woodland, Ca.(20 mins north or Sacramento) We currently install Geoshield window tint and we’re thinking of using their ppf as well.
Great insight into the tools and products you use. The cigar holder was a nice touch 😎 I use RO water at my shop as well and found I really need to up my slip solution since the water is so “pure.” What’s the soap you’re using? I’m using J&J baby shampoo and need about 16 ml a gallon with RO water to make it slippery enough to avoid pretacking.
I really like the cigar holder. Looking on amazon turned up some really nice ones. I'll probably upgrade soon! There is a link in the description to the soap I use. It's Car wash shampoo that's made or was formulated in Germany. I bought it from my PPF supplier by its no longer available. After some exploring, I was able to find the same product rebottled by another company.
Last time I updated the links in the description I left those out on accident I guess. The description has been updated and here are the links. OLFA Knife: amzn.to/4arnTbh OLFA Knife Blades (50 Pack): amzn.to/3TonEqw
Yes. We use a jiffy steamer. Works great! I used to use a steamer on every install. Now, the film is so flexible I don't use it much. I used it the other day on a Toyota Supra, tough stretch! We mostly use it for removing PPF now. Helps the PPF come off easier and help ensure We don't pop paint off of repaints.
Love it I'm new to ppf and love your videos. ❤

Thanks for the helpful info! We’re slowly getting into ppf and your channel has helped a ton!
Happy to help! Where are you located? What PPF are you thinking about installing at your shop?

Awesome video! In a future video, can you go over how ‘silvering’ happens and your technique to get rid of it? Thanks!
Thank you, sir! 😁 I can definitely make a video that goes over the silvering. 👍🏻

The RO system affected my slip solution as well.
What blade do you recommend for trimming PPF ?
