You did well Martin, its hard cooking in a different kitchen. I would be outside in a tent, I like to be tucked up warm, cool air outside. I've slept outside in September/October here in Canada giving up my bed for a guest. I even sleep in a tent when visiting family in UK , I keep a tent there and supplies.
If you haven't got a lid for your frying pan, try getting a tea spoon and baisting the top of the eggs with the butter in the pan, you get the same results as you would if you had a lid on your frying pan.
Martin, you can use a piece of foil as a lid for the frying pan, does the same as your lid. If you want to warm your plates put them under hot water and then dry them, voila ! Good job Martin but Sharon is a lot more laid back in the kitchen 😊😊

When kiwi fruits first came to the UK, they were giving them away at the Ideal Home Exhibition. I didn't know you were supposed to take the furry skin off, so I ate it. Yuk. Didn't know you were supposed to feed butter with grass Martin.😂❤
Many many years ago I went out with an Italian guy so I tried all kinds of things before they became popular & fashionable such as olive, avocado, kiwi, Sharon fruit etc. They used to go to the local Italian stores where they could get the Italian coffee for espresso & the different pasta etc. Anyway my sister came round & she'd had kiwi in a fruit salad I'd made & she saw them in the fruit bowl. She said "oh I love kiwi can I have one?" As I said yes she picked it up & bit into it......& soon spat it out again saying it was off!!!🤦🏼♀️🤣🤣🤣 I explained you peel it or cut it in half & scoop it out with a teaspoon.
Maybe your bacon is like the chocolate bars they say has less sugar in it or whatever, well it will have as the bars are smaller, maybe they cut the bacon thinner for same reason. Hehe . Yes they say don’t wash things where things could stick later. Ie frying pans. If you fancy something Martin don’t feel bad about having it. Enjoy your time in Scotland. Use white vinegar in your none stick pan with hot water cleans well and doesn't affect the none stick I've followed your diet or close to it but its not helping my diabetes much so have gone back to 4 small meals a day and the weight and my sugars are coming down so yes well done but yes it is down to the individual to what works
Yes square sausage known as Lorne sausage. You can get square sausage from Iceland & Farm foods, but also from Asda & I think Sainsbury's. It's usually in the frozen section in the shops but some stores occasionally sell some fresh.
Try and get Stornaway black pudding it’s the best ( according to my family / friends ) you two are great fun to watch 🤣 great your levels have dropped 👏👏hope your wee granddaughter is better soon 🙏

UK regulations means the birds have to have access & be able to run free during daylight hours so they do go outside & eat whatever is there. HOWEVER, due to bird flu in parts of the country, most birds, if not all, are not allowed outside now, but because of the circumstances can still be classed as free range. This includes organic birds as all birds have to remain indoors during bird flu restrictions as per guidelines.
Thing is with the keto/low carb/carnivore way of living… you have to make it work for you. You don’t have to be a puritan… it’s your life.. make it work for you. By any means necessary. I think you’re both doing bloody brilliant!!! 😊
