Ever heard of a place called Lake in Wood RV Resort? We’ll take you on a quick 5 minute tour of this campground. Lake in Wood has plenty of sites for travel trailers, 5th wheels, motorhomes, and even tent sites. It is located in Amish country in Narvon, PA. We’ll also show you one of the most unique restaurants in the world, The Catacombs. Inside Bube’s Brewery, this restaurant is about 40 feet underground in a 160 year old brewery. I spent many summer of my youth at Lake in Wood campground. I am completely blown away at how many lovely changes there have been. Paved roads? Boat rentals? Boy oh boy have things changes since the 80's! It was a wonderful campground back then but know it just looks phenomenal! We had a permanent site there for years. I would love to head back and see it again.
Hey Kevin, we have 2 trips planned this year. It was bought out by sun rv resorts so we’ll see what happens, but we love it there. I bet it was a great place to grow up. I feel that way about Knoebels. Thanks for watching!

One of our favorite campgrounds. We live less than 30 minutes away and visit at least once a year. We love the spacious big rig sites.
It is SUCH a nice, clean campground. Love it there. Peaceful at night too.

We stayed here on one of our first trips out with a 20 foot trailer. Now that we have a 32 foot fifth wheel I would say make sure you pick your site ahead of time. With all the trees some of the sites are difficult to get into. Love the pool with an indoor/ outdoor option !
Agreed, we try to book a year in advance to reserve our site.

Love lake in woods it’s a good place specially fishing there lots of bass when I went Idk if there still there but really fun place
love seeing these clean campgrounds, so many have gone to hell lately.
we were at one late in the season and some of the seasonal campers had mold growing all over them.
How do you have those cafe lights attached to your awning? I am looking for a solution with the same setup.

Not to be “ that guy” but I gotta say there’s one better. Rancho something in Sedona. It’s right on Oak Creek, every spot in this lil park is absolutely gorgeous. Walking distance to shops, super nice place.

What kind of RV internet service do they recommend in wooded areas?
i would start by checking coverage maps.
Has been bought by Sun outdoors, now called Sun Reatreats Lancaster County and now cost has increased. They buying up all the private camps in the country.
I saw that Dennis... what are your thoughts on that? We have gone since the ownership change and didnt notice any changes at the campground, even the LIW signs were up, but I'm afraid prices will continue to rise under corporate ownership. Have you been?

That’s crazy. Lock in used to be $20 I think. And it wasn’t a cheap place to begin with. Such a shame because it is absolutely beautiful there.

some are, but there are others that give you a good amount of privacy.
