I feel sure I'm not alone in this. There is enough "fresh" food for a couple of weeks. (And might as well eat it before it goes bad.) The we move on to several weeks of what is frozen, then the canned stuff and finally the stuff in long term storage. A far larger problem is pharmaceuticals. Unless the world crashes on the day after all of my refills arrive in the mail, there is no way I'm going have what I would need.
I believe I spoke about this in the video. You can ask for months supply of prescription meds from your doctor or insurance or get them from Jase Medical. You can be prepared for 3 months, at least, with prescription meds.
Great advice! Amazon has an oven that can be used on a charcoal grill, propane stove, etc for $50, added to my wish list. Though I eat a lot of beans I'd rather make cassoulet than plain beans & rice. I want to modify my favorite recipes to be made in a grid down situation.
Yes ma'am! We have holes in our preps but are working towards plugging them. We can do 3 months but it would difficult, we have changed our diet and what we would have eaten before no longer works, but would if we had to. Tomorrow I'm castrating 4 goats so we can butcher them in January. December we are buying a freeze dryer, and I'm so looking forward to it and of course watching your videos over it.
A big hole in my preps is cat food. I used to have a big supply of it but, between a reduction in income and rising prices, I barely have enough for few weeks at the moment.
Hey, im in the UK. I've been prepping since January 2023. I do fasting so I can survive on one meal per week. Dont forget your 3 month emergency fund, yall.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
As for the length of the video, a long video was appreciated, you have given us some more to consider. One major hole for us involves our snakes and rodents that we raise to sell. We have a solar generator and a gas generator just for them but it's not enough.
Great video helping viewers to consider preparedness needs and present deficiencies.

Thank you for all of this info. You're so funny😂. In a very positive way.
Thank you for your time and videos
A great overview of self sufficiency. Well done.

Thank you from the Kenai in Alaska. Blessings
Appreciate you!
Just read your download for 3 month prep, it's great! Thanks so much!
nice info to have
Great video thank you for the refresher reminder.
Thanks!
Should 1,800,000 calories do it?
Per day? Totally should work.

You make perfect sence 👍✌️

Yes sometimes we have to use our preps and that’s not a bad thing. As long as we know our holes and can slowly build them back up? We’ll be golden.
In an extreme emergency you can feed the cat tuna fish (in moderation) and chicken or turkey with rice, veggies (no potatoes, corn) and cooked beans
@@debbieorazi2518 I have seven of them and not all like tuna, but thanks anyway.
1 meal a day probably for me . community is important like you say . for city especialy 💎

Take your rv out and boon dock. No air conditioning, water out of jugs, battery flash lights. Cook on propane. Use a compost toilet.
