The perception that Arteta is following Pep is wrong information. Arteta started playing 4CBs long before Pep even thought it was a good idea. Pep always had Cancelo and Mendy/Zinchenko. Arteta had White CB as RB, and Tomiyasu CB as LB before Pep thought of doing the Ake move and later Gvardiol. So the misconception that it had always been Pep's idea is laughable

Calafiori, Williams and Merino would be phenomenal business - all for about 100m.
With ESR (40m), Nketiah (30m), Nelson (20m) all pretty much with one foot out of the door, that is an insane upgrade to the squad for almost even money.

Think those numbers he stated about the outgoings aren't too far off either, though there are rumors of eddie going loan with obligation (and i would switch the ESR/Eddie numbers from an evaluation - not ability - standpoint).
I believe in Arsenal and Arteta that we can and we will win the league in the 24/25 season and I hope and pray that we win the league

Thomas has to go . The injuries are just too much . At his very best he's great . That usually lasts 6 or 7 games max then injured again.

Once up to speed he was a completely vital player and the one we played through and dominated along with odegaard . They are a great complimentary pair . But he simply isnt ever fit and his technique and whole game is always miles off until he is fully fit ..
Not over rated at all WHEN FULLY FIT . That simply never happens anymore though .
Partey at best and Jorginho at best are two totally different players but the dynamism partey gives you and his all round game means very few would choose Jorginho over him ..
Jorginho doesn't give you enough . He's a beautiful passer but he doesn't give you enough and partey does WHEN FIT .

Nico and Barcelona already have a verbal agreement. The problem is that Barcelona need to "prove" to La Liga they have enough money and that's why they need to sell first. They made the same promise to Messi twice (when he was forced to leave and after he left PSG) and in both cases they didn't have the money to allow them to hire.

Nico Williams most certainly will not join Arsenal, as much as I would like that to happen. Real or Barca will always get their hands on La Ligas younger players, and even if they wouldn't in this case, I'm not sure how high Arsenal are willing to go. I would be very, very surprised if Arsenal actually got this signing done. However, if Arsenal manages to sign Williams, it would be a game changer.
