I feel like haku and kimmimaro both being examples of people being used as tools for someone’s selfish goal is compelling. It shows how shinobi in general are used as tools and how corrupted the shinobi world is later on. Also Orochimaru and Gaara are great villains imo
Naruto is one of the most consistent series to be honest, and that is in a lot of aspects, be it story/arcs, anime production quality (compared to it's time frame of production and competitors like One Piece), manga artwork/designs etc etc. There's some anime filler issues, mainly talking about the canon parts with integrated filler or mixed filler episodes and deviations from manga which affect the experience. Part 1 is probably the most consistent and kind of perfect in the sense that it's an even line with less controversy about whether something is good or not. Basically if you don't love it, you also won't hate it. Entering timeskip gives Naruto some break to ease the backpain caused by carrying the show so hard, the pacing does have some issues and the previous arc having so much constant hype does have it's effect, especially on the anime. The following arc is also probably the weakest arc of the series but still a solid 7-8/10 with the Akatsuki suppression picking things up which slowly leads the show to it's peak during the Pain period. The series doesn't really keep a breather arc and enters it's final War saga starting strong with the Kage Summit arc which if I remember correctly is followed by Early War arc which is also a competitor of the weakest arc of the show and then the entry of Madara and Naruto into the war just makes it go higher and higher, no one talks about Bruno (Kaguya) and then we get the best possible finale to the series... until Boruto happens. Before that you also get a mini animated story about a new lore related villain.
It was my first anime and i just started rewatching shit got me emotional like 3 times before the chunin exams even finished its as goated as a i remember
Og naruto wasn't that good please be real the pacing kills me in og naruto and didn't get deep enough . Naruto shippuden was peak I was thinking pain arc and madara arrival arc entire day for month and still can't get out of I watched one piece but still I think shippuden was masterpiece. Og naruto had problems .
@@oxy2986 this is the usual deluded Naruto fan you really don't know do you? Shippuden was hated by so many and for good reason people like you really jut watch shit and turn ur brains off that's the only way to enjoy naruto
its like the definition of mid. it occasionally delivers greatness but the pacing is awful from start to finish, the abilities and fights become nonsensical, almost all the characters wither in the shadow of sasuke/naruto. their relationship was never built up enough to justify his obsession, its weirdly idealistic and being a ninja barley even seems like a dangerous job, and the greater plot is very bad too. In 1000 episodes, the series accomplishes very little.
Literally both
Masterpiece.

Good point! I think the use of shinobi as tools is a compelling point as well!

Great breakdown on the series, completely agree on all points💯
I mean I think naruto antagonist in part one still were pretty deep though
Of course the land of waves arc and gaara prove that.
They do have some deep ones but overall I believed most didn’t realize their full potential within the runtime. Good point though!
@@jamintery yeah i agree with that
Masterpiece
masterpiece for sure
Naruto said "believe it" 234 times total.
I don’t believe it 😂
@@jamintery Kiddiiiiiiing ! I'ts just as I expected.

Shikamaru and Temari was top tier fight. Good points made all around my friend, keep up the good work!
Rock Lee vs Gaara was one of the best fight of the Chunin exams in my opinion.
Masterpiece its made and inspired many the journey is enjoyable and worth it, story is so nice the plot is great best in the big 3 imo
Idk but I’ll tell you what is a masterpiece. Naruto Unhinged.

Nah great
On the next one are you going to say Masterpiece? 😂
@@jamintery depends is it gonna be sao?
Naruto Part 1: Masterpiece. Naruto Shippuden: Mid, closer to mediocre than masterpiece.

calling naruto mid is wild
Original? Mid
Shippuden? Masterpiece
Nope the original Naruto is decent Shippuden Mid. Shippuden isn't a masterpiece
Shikamaru fight was boring. Naruto vs Neji was ass.
