I think its a basic progression but be gives it his own style. Bluesy, in a status quo way.. The first time i heard the lyrics crashing in upon the waves you called me out beyond the grave. i thought it sounded familiar and the main solo is definitely familiar. However, its an amazing tune and definitely more original than most of his other stuff. Hes an underrated guitarist and his arrangements are second to none.
It’s a great song. Plus that version from Air Studio is probably their best live performance of the track!! The album version would be a nightmare to decipher however!!

Yes but it might be the live version as I prefer that version (and it's easier to transcribe!)
