- Tai Chi's meticulous focus on proper body mechanics and controlled movements offers invaluable lessons applicable to various martial arts disciplines, including MMA, boxing, and beyond. Through Tai Chi practice, practitioners learn to harness the power of their entire body, generating force from the ground up through coordinated movement and alignment. This emphasis on efficient biomechanics not only enhances striking power but also promotes explosiveness in executing techniques. By cultivating a deep understanding of weight distribution, leverage, and momentum, Tai Chi enables martial artists to deliver strikes with maximum impact while conserving energy. Moreover, Tai Chi's emphasis on relaxation and fluidity fosters a heightened sense of timing and sensitivity, allowing practitioners to anticipate and counter opponents' movements effectively. Here
It’s riding the wave of his energy and returning it back to him like a wave in the ocean
i grew up surfing. My experience leads me to the same conclusion. After all, all energy waves, electrical, magnetic, etc. travels in waves.
@@keallykatz1886 I lucky enough to do a seminar with sifu Singh back in 2011 in boco raton fl when he was a part of Paul vunak organization I learned a whole from the man he is very strong and fast and train’s hard

heard a story of an old kung fu master who, in old age, gave up practicing all other moves and forms except for the one used here, brush knee. there is a reason for this.

In real life, they don’t attack that way and that offensive attack you’re explaining is too good to be true. Real fighter doesn’t attack that way. They set up first before they find the right time to give you the shot.😏😏😏
Jeff Chan uses a similar parry when he's kickboxing. Not saying I'd do it like the guy in the video does it, but to say parries don't work when it comes to striking is just factually wrong. We have so many examples to the contrary.
hes just explaining tactics. it never works or looks how it does on display, but the technique is sound. ive won and lost fights using these movements.
nope, not effective. are you gonna do three to one moves? you better be three times the fighter
Dude shut up
@gmmc372 you got it wrong, he's damn right 😎
I dare you to go actually apply it in MMA! show and prove or STFU! I"m calling Bulshido on you bro, you got no wind or stamina and just a show of shortstroking and pulled punches. I am directly calling you out to go post your videos of all your MMA matches you've won. or any full contact matches? or go step up and show us all how well it works in REAL life.
