    I am forever a student of Swamiji. His lectures are pure genius. The pinnacle of teaching is to take complex notions and break them down into manageable pearls so once rejoined on the necklace of reality, all understand. Swamiji does this with every lecture.

    I have gone through the entire Upanishad texts of Veda Vyasa and Shankara explained in Bramha Shooktham and the same in the words of swami Paramarthananda, an ardent disciple of Swami Dayananda in more than 100 videos but this simple upadesha by this genius swami is a miniscule and atomic condensation in a capsule form for the instant yet eternal realisation of Sat, Chit, Ananda of the Atman or Bramman which is one’s Self. Pranams to Swamiji who should live to eternity to guide all the humanity ever!👌😌👍

    Wonderful job done here Swami: "Where is birth and death? In The mind." Where is a "near death experience?" Right. An appearance or an image in mind. It is to realize that such an experience may be witnessed but not that there was a body to have been left and returned to...to realize that the Witnessing or the Knowing, not the contents, is real. Enjoy the movie! ! !

      I don't remember my birth ..and I have no experience with death either.
      'I' is the only word I truly understand ... other words are simply sounds that ultimately resolve to the I.
      So in I, I rest. I am my own cradle. It's all I will ever need.

    It is a privilege to hear Swami Sarvapriyananda's lectures on the UA-cam provided by Vedanta Society and other Organizations. Thakurji has said repeatedly in The Gospel that Sadhu sanghati helps remove doubts and makes God realisation easy. So am do grateful to the Swamiji for explaining our Upanishads in such an interesting way that one is literally glued. It wouldn't be an exaggerating statement to call him today's Swami Vivekananda. Thakur ji's blessing on him is immense and on us too who have the good fortune to savour his enlightening lectures. Thank you.

    Trust me when i say this.
    Some weeks before watching this video, i had asked myself why is everything brahman?
    And after a few hours of thought, I can up with the same answer.
    That brahman is not something that exists, but it is existance itself.
    Nothing exists without it. Because what would exist, if existance does is not there?

    You can lecture and explain as much as you want in Los Angeles. Man will continue be what he is and the world will be the same forever and you will continue to lecture forever.
    If all the sages and saints and gurus and swamis for centuries could not have this idea of pure being drilled into the psyche of the Indian people, then my friends it will be only talk as a form of entertainment, just to gather and pass time and eat something nice at the end of the talk.
    India is where all these grand ideas come from and what is india today? You find corruption, bribery, conmen, Internet scammers, guru scammers and sadhgurus.
    Where is the pure being? Where is Brahman? Where is the being that is looking on at the show?

    i've watched a lot of rupert spira and I've never understood how consciousness comes first and everything flows from that but here, in less than 10 minutes it is finally explained in a way I can understand. Existence. Existence has to be first before anything can exist. Anything that exists is born of existence. Like waves in the ocean. You can have an ocean(existence) without waves(things that exist) but you can't have it the other way around.

    A useful allegory is that our mind was the pure existence before this pure being was populated with thoughts which are the creations .... names and forms
    The intention now is to rediscover the pure being and not to be lost in the creation. Once found you continue to live in the creation. After enlightenment , the laundry awaits 😁

    Wanna ask this question:
    What is the relationship between Sat and Chit... Very often, Swamiji has quoted that when you look at your hand, then your experience is that 'i' am looking at my hand and not my hand is looking at me... There by trying to prove that 'I' am sentient and hand isn't... I am chit...!!
    OTH, very often while discussing the positions of Pure Existence, Swamiji has quoted that the reality for things to exist is that Existence itself appears as things and not the other way round...!!! i.e., things don't exist but it is the existence that appears as names and forms...!!
    So now there are two things here.... One is the concept of Sentience as shown in the oft quoted example of 'looking at your hand' experience (Chit) and the other of elaboration of Existence...!!
    So when we discuss insentient things we look at it fm point of view of Existence Example... When we look at Sentient beings we use the examples to arrive at Chit...!!
    So as per non-duality, are both Existence and Chit the same...?? If yes, does it mean that Existence is Sentient...??

    • @abpt7647
      @abpt7647 4 роки тому

      Brahman is existance consiousness bliss.
      Everything is brahman implies both jeeva and jada is brahman.
      So brahman give both existance and consiousness to jeeva and jada.
      But
      Jeeva catch existance(it exist)
      And also consiousness becz of presence of subtle body. (Sentient)
      But
      Jada catches existance(it exist)
      But it can't catch consiousness bcz there is no subtle body.
      Here subtle body is playing crucial role.
      Swiitch on the light in your room and place a surface there.then you can find reflection of light there in surface. Then remove that and look for light in same place. Bur you can never find it. Light is present always but you need a surface to experience it.
      Light= consiousness
      Surface= subtle body
      Now we know consiousness is unchanging and non dual.
      Existance is also nondual and unchanging.
      So they should be one and same

    His argument assumes there is an underlying Pure Existence around us. But I don't see that experientially or inferentially. I see this as a downside. Advaita seems more approachable, experientially, when dealing with Atman / consciousness within me, but seems to require a leap of faith when understanding Brahman.

      Existence is a verb. All nouns are born out or this verb. Existence is not experienced directly through senses. The world you see is a reflection of existence. Just like it various pieces of furniture like table, chair, door, cupboard are made of wood and all take different shapes and name but in reality only Wood exists.
