I hope Davy somehow realized the depth of respect, love and admiration so many of us have always held for him and all the Monkees. The rare talent, wisdom, devotion to his / their obviously God given talents are beyond rare. You that were blessed with having him in your family must certainly continue to miss him tremendously. Us fans that miss him too, he will always be with us in the shows, songs and sweetness he always displayed.

I was raised in Gorton, and I'm damn sure David was a regular guy. The more I learn about him, the more I know he was one of us. Great achievements, great sense of humour, and down to earth family. God bless.
