I was 14 when LL came to the then uber Liberal Gilford Middle High School in 1980 on this campaign, his speeches actually inspired me then, and I bought many of his books over the years, and in the Army seeing the LL book sellers and public newsstands LL supporters manned, always ahead of his time for sure.
