each pill is gapped between each other all the way through. 2 pill sections come together via the output transformer. side away from pill of output and input transformer are not gapped these are you positive (output transformer) and ground/bias input(input transformer).

I was curious about the input cap facing the output cap....most builders put the cap facing the front of the box
id put a little room on them pill strips so if you have to get a pill out ... just saying there hell to get out

They come that way but if you use the new 2879c you have to open it up a little more.
