Great little vedio luck,a little box does great things, but let us all remember, antenna, antenna, antenna, lol, hey you know what, that would be a great idea, yall got a killer radio, and a killer amp, awesome, lets talk antenna, just food for thought, proud to be a patreon, learn a lot of things here brother,73s buzz, kbouzz
love the caps. I have added low ESR caps japan made to my SSB users boxes. getting reports it makes better sound quality . even put good japan cap on bias. I got a way from china caps some years back. Now that a class C box. mostly AM/FM . Legal FM radios hitting the market. Class C is great on FM just watch drive and key down time. on a bias box I am seeing less peek amps on SSB with cap bank. and more stable volts at collector . even the bias volts more stable on SSB with good cap on bias supply. on a big box 8 pill and over much better put a super cap as close to amp as possible with big AWG from cap to amp. makes a big difference. 73's
i am wanting to build or maybe just buy a small one pill for the 460mhz ish Band..Just For Fun and to see if it can even be done ! i have not started to do any thing yet i am still in my early research phase but i need some advice before going forward and Really dont know who to ask now that i i have ben out of the 11meter game for a fuw years now ! and i dont want to just start pestering people i dont know either..but i need to know so here we r ha ha !
Great work as always and always a pleasure to see you work to see a master at work.have a great day everyone and all the best you and your families waving a hand from UK
Kinda off topic but on the description there's a typo I wanted you to know about or I was thinking it was a typo where it says we live amps over here cb amps that is. Was that supposed to be love instead of live? Not trying to pick on Grammer as I often make the mistakes of hitting the letter beside the letter I wanted to hit in a hurry. Awesome videos.
Dear Mr. BBI, want to work with my FT-817 (5W) or the FT-991 (100W) with such an amplifier, you showed in this video, ... ! What a lovely device! So small and reliable, ... and only 12V DC ! ! ! I'm a HAM-OP, my call is db9pz. I'm loccated in DL, and want to 'switch' a high-pass filter behind the amplifier for 'legal resons'. Not using it for CB, only on the HAM-band's. My aim is having a 'portable' or 'mobile' station, working out of of a battery-pack, or my car, like 'field-day' style, ... ! Is this type of amp also good for short-wave from 80/60/40/30/20/17/15/12 up to 10m (or even 50MHz) ? When it delivers >500W with 100W input on 27MHz, there will be a little more on 3,7MHz ? (Should be, ... !) Will not use it for ragchewing, more the 'contest-style', in SSB and maybe also CW. Will the amp also work, without any problem, when feeded with only 5W? (FT-817, I use my 20 year old Darling very often in the wild, ... ! ) Knowing that the output will then be under 80W, ... ! But even better then only the 'naked' 5W. And the amp will run very 'cool', ... ! TX-switching is no problem, the Yaesu-radios have an external mini-DIN socket, to fit a cable, switching the amp on and off, perfectly without any problem. (Only a 'contact to ground' is nessecary, to switch over the relay's! No SSB delay, or other things to do, semi-QSK, ... ) I am licensed since 1989, and want to 'buildt' it myself, holding strong to your 'plan', to make a good, rugged and reliable PA for outdoors use. I always use resonant antennas! (A big tuning unit is also aviable if nessecary, an 'Anneke-Tuner', good for >1kW) Sorry for my bad English, it's not my native tounge. 73 de Markus - db9pz - (JN39fq 5km/3miles east of LX!)

Nice . Very sweet little build.
Love it,....... cute lil guy
very impressive 2 pill. Nice video as well
Love to see that as a 2 pill base. I would buy that absolutely!
It's a really cool build. I'm gonna start building again.
Great video...73's
Thats a bad a$$ 2 pill..
Nice build.

What would you charge me for a 2 pill kit ,I will get the toshiba transistor will get the HG2879CI
I'd love to know what that would do with only 12 watts of drive.
What size filter caps do you have on the Master class 2 pill?
16v 480
👍✌
I missed out again Mr BBI
You don't show us any more how to build them in detail but I can under stand the with secrets and all.
no secrets! no here.
