Me too. Thankful to still have a roof over my head, food to eat, clothes on my back and an income. Even though I've been alone for over 20 years I still have my dad in my corner. He's been there for me since I became schizo affective. That's schizophrenia and bipolar and I'm also a maladaptive daydreamer and even though none of my dreams have came true I'm thankful in knowing and believing that someday they will.

Side note: One the few things i love about UA-cam are the recommendations (most times, at least). I would NEVER have come across this gem of a song if it wasn't for that nifty, little algorithm.
I grew up without a Father. So many walk that same path of life, never knowing the TRUE guidance a Father can provide, the sense of protection, the unwavering love a Father is supposed to extend to his children.
It only got harder once I had children of my own, HOW do I be a Father, when I don’t even know what it means…so many abandon their children asking that same question to themselves.
God changed everything, God began showing me what it meant to love, to care, to nurture…but not just my children, but those around me “thy neighbor”.
I realized I knew no Father, just so I could come to know THE FATHER, when the time was right 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
We are going to have “Moments of Uncertainty”

Develop consistency in Christ, and you will come to know what it means to “Be still, and know, that he is God”

I absolutely love this song. It has totally blessed me (listened on repeat). Found this song while reading Psalm 68:19 "Blessed be the Lord who daily bears us up; God is our salvation." Just like the song says, we can be thankful even when things aren't what we want. The flip side of this scripture is that to be held up, there's got to be force pushing you down. To be saved, we're saved from something. I pray for those who are dealing with things worse than I can imagine and I commit their difficulty to a capable God who is better than I can put into words.
