Brilliant. I had large buttons to put on a sweater coat. Your idea of sewing them together with a smaller button so that is the button that goes through a smaller hole is the solution. Thank you very much! Did not think of that!!
AWESOME!!!! Love the technique and the skill with which you presented the lesson!!! Will be watching this video over and over until I get it right!!! Thanx!!!
Thank you for addressing precisely the problems I was about to have as I leapt from never having made a button hole in my life, to 'saw a picture of a triangular button hole, which would be an amazing detail 1" detail with these tiny triangular buttons I have, surely I can just figure that out..." Fortunately before finding a garment I wanted to do that to, I became aware that "bound button holes" are not button holes bound with thread, and got thoroughly confused watching a video, where they're cutting separate little pieces of fabric for each button instead of one piece for all the buttons... which lead me to looking for a more in depth explanation of that process... which got me to a video with the cool triangle button holes which I hadn't even considered looking up instructions for. So, thank you for having created a video that explained all the problems I haven't yet run into, and hopefully, keeping one more project out of the UFO drawers.

The best sewing tutorials I've watched--slow, careful, detailed, and creative!
Yours really are great tutorials. Not just listing steps, but giving the thinking behind it. Thank you.
