2024: The Escape Route
As we draw nearer to the final taper week, there's not much prep left to do besides final gear checks and making sure you know the route like the back of your hand! With all the changes this year, entrants have had a chance to explore all the various route recces. From the original route, to Kasteel's and finally the escape route and official route for 2024.
We met up with Grant Oliver, a long time Puffer runner, who first used "the escape route" back in 2008 when the foul weather left no choice. Back then the runner's finished up at Ferrymans! Since then, Grant has run every route countless times during his recces and we thought he would be perfect candidate to guide us through the map and share all his tips, check points and shortcuts along the way.
