Important to note those torx screws on the handguard are actually torx plus and yes you need the correct torx plus bit to torque down the handguard or you'll strip the screws and have a handguard that isn't torqued properly
Everyone I've talked to explaining they've had an issue with handguard movement were in fact using the wrong torx bit. In each case , after using the correct torx plus bit and torqueing to 60 inch pounds, the problem was solved
I just wish they made a 15” handguard for the 16”. That 2” gap to me is tacky. I personally like my flash hider more flushed to the handguard. than have that opening

@@buddy9577 pretty sure a URGI upper would be a better buy and you won't have to worry about parts getting changed on you as SIG "fixes" what ever they found was wrong while using customers as beta testers.
