- It's crazy that I am already in my 13th week of pregnancy! This pregnancy has just flown by already and I know time is only going faster. These twins are such a blessing and surprise. We are so grateful that we get to bring them into this world.

I highly recommend walking and riding an exercise bike to help with the varicose veins. Even though my veins got worse with each pregnancy, they felt better with pregnancies 8 and 9 (compared to #7) because I walked an hour a day with #8 and rode an exercise bike for an hour a day with #9. Good luck with everything!
Oh that’s great advice! I just started getting active again since I was so sick for a couple of months. I’m trying to walk more and more. That’s awesome to hear that they felt better with your 8th pregnancy.

I think your bump looks small compared to mine when I was pregnant. I gained a lot of weight with my two pregnancies. I was hungry all the time and I would try to prevent nausea by eating. Hope you feel more comfortable soon :)

I'm 13w today with twins. Ultrasound in 4 days
I can relate to the varicose vein issue! I've had varicose veins (of varying degrees) for most of my adult life, and women in both sides of my family have had them. When I was pregnant with my son, the veins in my right calf and back of the knee would start to hurt within 15 minutes of waking up and standing still was torture. I can't remember when I started wearing compression tights (my son is now 6), but pretty sure it was within the first trimester. I had to wear prescription strength, full-length (toe to waist) compression stockings from immediately after waking up until going to bed...and all through the HOT, humid Minnesota summer (my son was born in mid-August). And, boy, it was a workout and contortionist act to put them on every morning, but it was soooo worth it! Took virtually all of the pain and discomfort away. Not sure if your insurance covers them, but my midwife gave me a prescription for the stockings and insurance paid for most of it (full price about $120 I think).
oh wow! I know what you went through. I have similar ones that go toe to waist and are prescription strength. It is so hard to put them on already! But it is worth it. I had to wear them from my previous pregnancy and was pregnant all through the summer too. Phew!

Im 13 weeks. Unfortunately during the nt scan showed very elevated fluid at the back of the neck. Baby a was 2.0 and baby b was 4.0. Ugh the dr seemed so sorry to deliver the news that there could be chromosomal abnormalities or structural defects. I opted to do the nips blood test but wont get the resullts for 10 days...once those come back along with the nt scan, results are 95% accurate apparently. I would then have to do an amniocentesis OR a cvs. Ugh im so upset and im hoping and praying for the best.
I didn’t even realize my tingly feet could be a symptom! 😱 I’ve been experiencing it this past week, (week 12). I’m 13 weeks today but same as you, it’s when I first wake up, or when I get up from laying down for a bit. I feel almost like it’s just loose and weak even into my calves.

I had the exact same issues with food!! We literally went through every fast food restaurant near us during those weeks I was sick!! Lol typically I eat really healthy but the thought of my normal stuff made me so sick. Also I ate the veggie jimmy johns sandwiches while pregnant too haha

I craved Jimmy Johns during one of my pregnancies too. I’m in southern CA and I drove 40 mins to the only one I could find and it was closed for good 😭
Also had tingly feet with my second and I still have it 8 months later. Not as profound, but definitely still there.
