This might be a bit long but bear with me Ali.... I understand that the ball goes where the face is aiming all things being equal with swing etc..... A friend of mine has been experimenting with addressing the ball with a more closed face, neutral grip with shaft straight. When he swings the "dynamics"come into play putting his hands more forward and bringing the face square to address giving him a good reliable contact and it seems to work well for him.Thoughts🤔🤔🤔 Good content 🎊🌟🤩🥳
Good ideas to think about. My tendency is to hit left. Fades feel very scary to me but I've noticed that when I practice hitting fades on the driving range that I get better at overall ball strikes. This video suggests to me that my tendency is to have the club face a bit too closed. Will play around with this a bit.
I would have to say, most effects come from improper stance (from improper length). Bend in legs, arm, and back gives lots of guesswork in the stance. More upright will make the arms extend. Reducing variance in the 3 body locations.
This is a LOT to process in 10 minutes. Missed the part that said what colored line represented what. Made it more difficult to follow along then. In general, understand what you're saying. Ball flight/shape is result of club face at address and club path it's traveling on. If you don't like the flight/shape, change the path/face accordingly. I think.

Should the ball be a club head away from your front foot

First
I sure hope so.
No matter how hard I try I can’t regularly hit a fade - draw easy any day
I’m the opposite.
