It's possible to get her final limit break and her ultimate weapon while she's alive. Final weapon is in Temple of the Ancients which you get shortly before she leaves the party. Final limit break is more complicated. Once you get the buggy from Dio (the owner of the gold saucer), head back to costa del sol in it, go back to Junon, find the cave within which you sometimes get mythril, go back across, go to the weaponsmith's house (you may have to find out about the keystone first), get small box
I think I see what's happening. Using a Saga Frontier disc may not be necessary. What's important is that there's no CD in the tray at all and thus no data to load while traversing the map and nothing in memory can prevent you from moving. You're basically just short-cutting a huge portion of the game by removing the disc.

The best practical purpose of having Aeris later in the game is the awesome feeling you get when your entire party is about to wipe and Aeris saves the day with a limit break that puts everyone back to 100% like a new start. Now over 15 years and 7 Final Fantasies later, that same feeling is recaptured in FF14's healer limit breaks with real people in your party experiencing this.
Some interesting side notes... if you glitch to Mideel, you can hear everyone talk about meteor on disc 1, but your lead character will be invisible and the game will freeze if you get near the hospital (also, no way off the island... sucks). If you glitch to Rocket Town and recruit Cid, you can get the Tiny Bronco early, but any scenarios you skip past will be lost for good (ie Cosmo Canyon and repairing your buggy). I'm also pretty sure the game will explode if you skip recruiting Cait Sith.
@eriol33 Aeris was still in PHS because you must do this before dates in Gold Saucer (After Anciest Temple events she leave the party). I skip this event so game doesnt trigger leaving Aeris (leaving party lauch only when you leave a temple but I skip this part so she is in party). You can do this too (If you follow instructions and do everything like in video) and you see this is real. I don't use gameshark, action replay etc this is not a fake :)
Basically you are just accessing the aerith death scene without her being removed from your party at the end of temple of the ancients. The death scene doesn't remove her from your party since she is already removed in temple of ancients they just never give her back because well...dead lol. But because of how this was performed (this obviously takes place before temple of ancients) If you were to go back and do that dungeon (or any event that removed her from your party) youd lose her forever. The only possible exception is if they code differently when your party is entirely removed save cloud. If they code it just to give you back who you had before then youd keep aerith as well but if not you could lose her there too. Tl;Dr depending ob how you play this is only a temporary way to keep her
I was 15 when this game came out. I didn't play video games vary much maybe some snes, don't get me wrong I had a Atari system in the 80's just wasn't much of a fan. when I played this game popped my "gaming cherry" been gaming ever since. I am so excited for the remake I can't stand it! people are mad because they are changing the game so much. I for one am happy for the same game world and environments with all new stuff. I played the original songs many times. I've done everything that can be done at least 10 times. I beat the game in 21.5 hours on ps1. no warping or anything begging to end, I did stop and get omnislash so that cost me about an hour but please lets enjoy the remake we should be happy they are doing it at all. I think it will be amazing if people would let go of the past and get a game that has some nostalgia but is new as well. keep an open mind!
Cool! I played this game so long I was able to get 2 knights of the round. I had my team up to 9999. The girls ended up being the powerhouses of destruction.
have you checked the directory and files structure? maybe ff7 loads the maps from XXXXXX file in the cd and the saga frontier one has a file with the same name in the same place. If that's the case then this happens because the "map_load" function doesn't load the map properly (and doesn't crash nor returns and error code when that happens) because the file is worng and just returns without overwriting the memory, so the game continues thinking that what's in memory is the correct piece of map
Aeris should have never died in the original FF7, the game developers should have just found a way to work around that. Her death was just way too sad and heartbreaking!
All the deaths in FF7 were needed to truly show us how much death hurts. If she didn't die, this game wouldn't have been nearly as impactful. Now how the remake will do this... Hrm :/
@@blacksunapocalypse You definitely have some valid points, but with Aerith dying so early in the game, you never get to see her full potential and can’t level her up all the way and reach her final limit break. Aerith is an awesome character and had a great friendship with both Cloud and Tifa. They could have killed Aerith off at the very end of the game, Sethiroth kills her at just before the final battle and then Cloud and the others fight him right there and then instead of way later on. The ending should have been Cloud putting Aerith in the water and letting her go.
Yes, it work on the console with original CD, what you have to do is change the CDs (what I made by accident) at certain point of the game allowing you to do what you did, to get there without Aeris, then Aeris is killed, Cloud throw her body into the water but still you can manage to keep Aeris to use as a party member (and the first time I finished the game was with Aeris, without Knights of the Round, couldnt get Black Chocobo, as I used Bahamut Zero max lvl + Quadra Magic max level on Cloud and 2 Mime at the other party members, also both Mime materias max levels . . a sequence that take about 16 minutes to complete and I had to do it twitce to beat Sephiroth, a "real long fight" there). Fun fact: I read at a game magazine this trick after I completed the game first time and after I could not save Aeris on my second run through the game. I started the game again, tried to use the magazine method and . . couldnt save Aeris again /facepalm . . . my first time playing the game was really a lucky one.
As a kid i was so heart broken from her diing that I would have stopped the game right there replayed it from the beginning to do the glitch just so I could keep her alive.
you can swap disks on a ps1 , i had a scratch on mine so wen you go to the town were cid is working on that rocket, cant remember the name. it would always freeze wen the fmv starts, so i swapped my disk 1 to disk 2 and it stil shows a fmv but not the one that is suppose to be triggerd at that current event, maby you could do stuff with keeping her alive aswell. i never tried it though
WOW, that's really cool LOL. I really wanted to use Aeris after disc 1 too LOL, I really like this discovery, very interesting. I've tweaked lots of things using cheats too, never tried one with this kind of way However.....not trying to be a kill joy here, but I have to agree with Blender Eripex here, this ain't no glitch. A glitch is in-game design problem, this is seriously messing with the game physics that should've been avoided had it been used in console. To explain, the reason it works on your emulator is because the game physics is messed up when you switched to disc 2. The game was still running and the emulator did not implement a certain condition that should've prevented you from going through different game physics of the 2 discs. You retained Aeris because the party's game physics still implemented disc 1 physics where Aeris is part of the party(I call it physics cuz I'm too lazy to think of another word LOL). Now I'm not a wonderful game developer, but from what I see, the game removes Aeris using a certain code line (dunno if its a proper program code or if its hexa), much the same as when adding a party member. You ran disc 2 and the code that removes Aeris was never implemented, so I have to agree with Blender Eripex that indeed, its not a glitch, its seriously breaking game physics and is absolutely the same as using codes, except, in a more harder way since you implement it via in-game tweaking. But don't get me wrong LOL, that was a wonderful discovery, gotta try it as well LOL. I like Aeris on my team as well, but I'll probably just use a code since its safer HAHA. My comment is very long so here's a TLDR version of it. Its the same thing as using codes, but in a different way of doing it since like cheat codes, its forced implementation, plus its messing with game physics so I'm not 100% sure that your game is absolutely safe after doing this, and I think using cheat codes that simply adds Aeris to the party after losing her would be a whole lot safer.....but hey, at least with your technique its not considered a code :)
It worked on my PS2! I remember finding this video along time ago, was there a previous video? Are you the one who found this out? Really an epic glitch and I feel like it is the most "legit" way to keep aeris being that its on original hardware and software
Inside the small box is her final limit break, easily attainable before losing her :) Also, they killed her off to reflect the pain suffered by... I can't remember, but it was someone high up in square... when his - I believe - mother died. It wasn't to make the game better, it was to reflect the sudden, random, and unexpected event of her death.
Umm I am no ff fan but i have played 7 a few times. (out of bordem) Cloud was and will forever be a blonde emo with anti-gravity hair. He was emo through out most of the game being quiet and withdrawn. He was like this due to the events predating ff7. As for arith/aeris She was always innocent, she picked flowers in the old church and sold them and was the keeper of holy. Which was the counter of meteor.
I have a question. How do the game react when you have Aerith in your team and continue the game with her. I mean, maybe you can fight with her on every fight, but what happens during "cinématics" ( speeches, event that force Aerith to show herself like all these moments when your team have to separate... ) ? Also, i think you cannot have "Bahamut, Aerith's best weapon, because you can't go at the ancient temple , don't have to go at the hotel at the golden saucer, and maybe some other things ?
Well one of the things you should know is you DO GET Aeris, which is mindblowing and AWESOME.. But the only downside of it is the stuff you have to sacrifice. By not going to the Temple of the Ancients, you lose, Bahumut Materia, Morph Materia, Aeris Last Weapon, and in the long run Bahumut Zero and a possibility for a Master Command Materia and Master Summon. By skipping to Disk 2 you Do in fact get Aeris, just ask yourself if you can live without all those listed above.
Yes, this glitch works. However, if you don't do it before Aeris leaves the party, you will keep her as a possible party member, but you'll get the error sound whenever you use PHS. That being said, she is still usable as extra storage for Materia if you did screw that up. But if she is fully usable, she'll screw up certain parts of the game such as dialogue, and boss battles too. However, she can fight three of the four Weapons. But for purposes of surviving those battles, no to Aeris, and no to Yuffie, their defenses are too low. Tifa only if she has Final Heaven. I've heard that something strange happens if Aeris is in the party when you enter the Ancient Forest, though I'm not sure what. A summons glitch I've noticed: Knights of the Round is 160% more damaging when Aeris uses it. Paired with MP Turbo, she'll regain 999 Stamina/MP from using it, basically fully restoring that. Also, Odin is 25% more likely to use the instant-kill move when Aeris summons him. It is possible to use Aeris in the final battle versus Sephiroth, however, the likelihood of the cutscene screwing up is high, at some point the game will likely freeze up.
konkakonkadudu Right, and the battle with Jenova ('Because you're a puppet...') after Aeris' death/drowning will freeze up if you have Aeris in your party ('ERROR - PLEASE RESET GAME') - Yes, I've tried this and I confirm it is true. Not that I'd want Aeris in that battle because of her weak overall defenses...
oddly enough, she has some throwaway dialog for when you crash your snowboard. i heard the same is true when you get the submarine, but i never saw it for myself. but otherwise those glitches that force a reboot were rather rampant. lead to some interesting stuff compounded with debug room shenanigans.
@gonzaloffx2 Saga Frontier was released only in America... I'm not sure if it will the same effect with ntsc (american Saga Frontier) and pal (european FF7) version of the game. I don't know.
Does this glitch have to be done with Saga Frontier have u tried it with other ps1 games like maybe swtiching the disk to disk 2 of FF7? it was stupid that they killed off the healer from FF7 anyway its like killing Garnet from FF9.
Great Video! Thank You so Much :D DId You do this from a file after the Temple of the Anicents Events? I wonder if this could work on PCSX, I am going to Try Anyway!
For the record; Cloud killed Aerith, Sephiroth just left her temporarily disabled. Her body went in to shock and her system shut down giving the image of death. Plus... She could open her eyes, move, or even speak. P.S. Cloud drowned her
VERY untrue. *spoiler warning* Cloud was never a member of SOLDIER. He was a infantryman. He was also in fact experimented on and succumbs to high levels of MAKO poisoning during those tests. After Zack escapes with Cloud he takes him and flees. Eventually they arrive outside Midgar where Shinra's army guns Zack down and leaves Cloud for dead. This is when Cloud assimilates Zack's memories and some of his personality and Cloud's story begins.
Have you played Crisis Core ? That game explain lots of things about Aerith and her behaviour. Ok, Crisis Core isn't really a great game, but the storyline is pretty awesome ( at least some parts ). By the way, she certainly has amazing limits breaks in FF7 ( 2-2, 3-2 and 4-1 are ones of the best ), the highest magic rate, and one of the best theme of the game.
Awesome, thanks so much for posting! This video gave me a great reason to go back and explore the game (in the wrong order, of course). I can confirm that this trick works fine on PS1. I'm going to try experimenting with other sequence breaking events and will post back if I see anything interesting. :)
u can get Aeris 4th limit in a cave where sliping man tell u nombers . it somehow related to fitgh u had , i am not sure but u must speak with him when two last numbers similar he gives u mithril ,which one u must use in GS
what about omnislash? cause from what i hear you need something in the golden saucer but if the temple of the ancients can't be done then you can't get the key which is in the golden saucer
*this reminds me of how super mario 64 glitches up when you load its save state while playing a diefferent game. seems a tad similar in concept. looking at how this works could you get knights of the round super early? or would you still be unable to run over water and mountains?
Can she read those things @8:24 its ancients writing that cloud can decipher and your never able to have Aerith in your party to that point without this amazing discovery
Quite interesting, good job :D But if u play PC version, there is a patch/mod (i dont mean save editor), where u just can have Aeris for rest of the game, she is in PHS all the time and she even has some dialogue lines/scenes added (u can see her standing in the Highwind or parachuting Midgar for e.g) Anyway worth to check :)
Interesting. Hell, if it don't work on a console, you can just transfer the memory card data via USB to a real memory card, and play it on the console afterward. Oh and, you can get her best weapon, because it is sold in a shop. I know, because I've played this thoroughly, minus the underground passage you can only get to by using a gold chocobo (I never figured out how to get one), and most of the better weapons are found in shops, and Aeris' best weapon is too.
@StepTyna hey i was just wondering before i try this will aeris talk and be there or is it only for battles, because i have used cheats in the past where the characters are invisible.
Maybe there's a way to convert a PS3/PSP save into a emulator save? That way you could just convert the save, perform the glitch, save and convert it back. But... I'm not sure if there is a way to convert save files :T
@StepTyna just recently I start FF 7 again.. I will try this. since you skip the date event in gold saucer, is it safe to visit the gold saucer after the glitch triggered?
i see, thanks a lot for the long explanation! she being alive eventhough only through battle time means a lot to me, i remember powering her up as much as possible and when she died, i was like wth!?!? LOL
The death of Aeris still hurts me to the day. seeing it, TWENTY YEARS LATER... legit twenty years after I played the game... hurts. :[ it made an impact.
When I first played the game, I was around 11 at the time (29 now, 30 in October). I was playing it with no spoilers. no guides. I got there on my own. I found it all out myself. Aeris was perfect to me. no flaws. peppy, innocent, sweet, flirty but still innocent. Happy. She loved her flowers. that was the girl I wanted to romance. not Tifa, who I still liked because of the childhood past. not Yuffie, who was still very cute and mischievous. only Aeris. when she died, I felt like someone stuck a knife in my own heart. that was terrible. and it still makes me sad to see it to the day. it was a perfectly done death scene.
I feel the same way.. 20 years past away and still Aeris' death hurts me.. I played many many times (right now I play again) and I'm still not ready for it. I know the others may think it's stupid, but for me it's like loosing someone very close from family. Sigh....
@jerijuana11 well no i have jenova which is sorta a trainer but it also has a party switch and i figured that if all the game required for the clone to work is for aeris not to leave the party when she has to then use jenova trainer to switch her off the party before she has to leave for the forgotten city
Xodahs ShadoxLunik i meant to kill him off for the entire game. he is the worst main character with the worst back story ever. i hate all of his guts, but i still use him because he is one of the top 3 best in a battle.
Why the hell do they make you play as the generic blond brooding guy the WHOLE game. FFVI let you play as whoever you wanted (even though the main character, Terra, was awesome anyway)
@RunescapeChode912 To my knowledge you cant switch discs ingame on PSP or PS3, you have to exit to XMB. Might as well just download a save from someone who has already done it.
If you carry on playing with Aeris in your party, she does talk in the mountain town, and also after you've crashed when snowboarding. But that stops when you go to the crater and you meet sephiroth because the game crashes and then after that Aeris doesn't 'exist' anymore... :(
You can get OmniSlash at any time, at the Gold saucer you need to fight in the Battle Arena, depending on which disk you decide to go for it (on Disk 1) its 51,000 Battle Points. the best way to get it is before you go to the Temple of the Ancients so it costs less than say getting it on Disk 2 or 3
Um I have a ps3 but have ff7 on ps1 disc but do u realy need tht progam to keep her I mean tht seems kinda dumb but it would be bttr if u didnt need tht program
Does this only work on the US versions of the games or on UK (PAL) as well? I have Final Fantasy 7 (PAL version). Do I need Saga Frontier US or UK version for this to work?
It is Jenova, Sephiroth's real body is stuck in the Northern Cave. Though he is controlling Jenova's body so it's pretty much the same as saying he killed her.
Because of similiar coding allowing go further without game crashing. I tried many other games and audio cds before but unfortunately only saga frontier work. When you reach "the glitched area" with any other disc the game just hang.
If I recall correctly, cloud didn't steal Zack's identity, he gained his memory and honestly believed that everything that happened was what happened to him do to amnesia. If I remember correctly it had to do with the fact that Cloud was a science experiment, and his memories were mixed with Zacks in his half aware state. As for Sephiroth, he wanted to return the planet to the ancients by taking it away from everything else. Meteor was the doomsday that would let him do that.
Even if it's a glitch I'd do it just to have her in the team. She had some really cool limit breaks. Maybe they'll include the glitch in the FF7 remake :)
Nope the scenes all have dummy scripts that trigger when you have her in the party. Only having her in the party during the death scene crashes because that scene relies on her praying at the altar and both of your party members have lines in that scene. Check out GarlandTheGreat for a detailed video + explanation.
Aeris still actually dies should this succeed; she'd just never leave your party, and thus be useable as normal, though there are a few points where the game hangs if she's present, including at her death. Interestingly, she has a few unique lines of dialogue leading up to the first incursion into Northern Crater, and she'll speak in any side-quests available before her death. Everyone will act as though she's dead, even when standing next to her, and the storyline will still view her as such.
I think it works on console. You even don't need another game, just open the disc tray. P.S. Sephiroth not bad! Shinra and JENOVA is bad, Sephiroth is just the victim of circimstances!
I just DID IT!! i dunno why that game specifically but i got to the Icicle area and got weapons early now to backtrack to forgotten city! I downloaded an English copy Of Saga Frontier and switched disks through ISO and it Worked!! Your a fucking Genius my friend, like what OxyJunk Head said.. Greatest moment indeed :)
FFVII Ultimate the PC version torrent, comes with a couple programs which can give you max level, limit breaks, summons, etc. Also lets you keep sephiroth and aeris in your party throughout the game
Hi, i´ve try to do this (in 1.9 version) and doesnt allow me to click in "Change Disk" option, aniway i´ve tried in 1.5.2v too and doesnt work propperly, dnt knw why, could you please give me some advice, i will apreciate that, thnk you very much :D
THIS WORKS ON CONSOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly as shown. Just did it, saved, reset, load, no fucking problems. Just make sure you play through the disc change before you turn off/reset. Used original 1997 ffvii and saga frontier purchased when i was 13 the day each came out. Greatest moment of my gaming life.
Simple hacks will already show what happens if you use a character that isn't meant to be in the game at that point. The game will simply freeze upon trying to load them when they "walk out" of Cloud's body. Unless you use hacks to give that character someone else's script (i.e. the "play as Sephiroth" hack that replaces Cloud with him). The only other way is through mods like on the PC version. A guy did make a mod where you can revive Aerith and he wrote her a complete script after her "death"
lol, when OP said Sephiroth would only be killing an Aeris clone, I immediately thought of Chrono Trigger....OMG THAT'S HOW WE CAN BRING HER BACK!!!
thedude isthedude not true.

I was genuinely curious. And you just couldn't help me out. Way to be a good person.
Once again not giving any sort of evidence to support your claim. Gonna go ahead and try to win this by being a douche. Cool, good for you man. You're really proving your point by just calling me an idiot.
had ff7 released in 2013, reviving aeris would have been released as DLC :D
2023 FF7 remake was released but full game will be a dlc
"Sorry Aeris but you can't see your own death. This crash the game."
Aeris: I understand.
Narrator: *Aeris didn't understand but she was too afraid to ask.*

I have to say, of all the glitches I've seen for this game, this is the most creative exploit and honest explanation of glitch I've seen so far.

You saved Aerith's life! :) I always wondered if she were to use Great Gospel before she prayed Sephiroth's sword would have broke into pieces.
Her name is no Aerith in the original
My brother played this before i did. So I already knew what would happen to Aerith. V cool idea, it never occurred to me
So you can’t user the character after Sephiroth kill her, would’ve been a good touch after you finish the game she’s back..
This sounds like a song you would play during Christmas season lol
The time is nigh.
It's just a waltz version of the Aerith theme
Specifically one of the OC Remix versions.
I think I see what's happening. Using a Saga Frontier disc may not be necessary. What's important is that there's no CD in the tray at all and thus no data to load while traversing the map and nothing in memory can prevent you from moving. saga frontier was advertised in the ff7 game manual... THEY WERE TRYING TO TELL US. not...
I never really paid attention to that. I wish my parents had gotten me Saga Frontier because now I am thinking it would have possibly been a perfect game to have as a kid.
You probably don't need Saga Frontier at all. Just take out the FF7 disc and try to move around the map.
You saved is live with a glitch? You are the best!

I have only seen her break the game so you cannot progress. Got any video links for that mario?
waynedunwhat? ? Just search it up on youtube
Some interesting side notes... if you glitch to Mideel, you can hear everyone talk about meteor on disc 1, but your lead character will be invisible and the game will freeze if you get near the hospital (also, no way off the island... sucks). Actually, Sephi gets the real one. You my friend, have the clone :)
Nah, Sephiroth killed the clone after they time traveled. Don't you learn anything from Chrono Trigger?
Oopp

+Robert Ostler consider yourself happy if they didnt remake ff7 into ff13 clone
omnislash in an hour on disc one?
could you also talk to the glowing blue balls in the forgotten city since aeris is an ancient and she lives?
Could you imagine how fucked, or even more fucked Cloud would be in the head if this really happened as a normal plot twist?XD
He would never go crazy. Aeris would be able to properly pray for Holy sooner and poor Sephy would die even sooner.
ChaoticBunny GAHH FUKKIT
8:47 ~ 8:57 Death Sentence... They knew something in the story was not right...
Sounds like an easy way to get knights of the round, mime etc right after leaving midgar
I started the game again, tried to use the magazine method and . . couldnt save Aeris again /facepalm . . . my first time playing the game was really a lucky one.
bro this is epic, i have both cd's and will try this. I really love Saga frontier as well I'm glad they have this weird connection lol
As a kid i was so heart broken from her diing that I would have stopped the game right there replayed it from the beginning to do the glitch just so I could keep her alive.
Praise the god for uploading this!
WHY ARE YOU EVERYWHERE >
Ive never heard this song or seen this glitch. Thank you so much!
you deserve ALOT more views.
Joyful music while clone died ruined my childhood :D
you can swap disks on a ps1 , i had a scratch on mine so wen you go to the town were cid is working on that rocket, cant remember the name.
it would always freeze wen the fmv starts, so i swapped my disk 1 to disk 2 and it stil shows a fmv but not the one that is suppose to be triggerd at that current event, maby you could do stuff with keeping her alive aswell.
i never tried it though
Did u know that peanut butter makes great sun block?
you must lay out at dog parks to tann
uuuuh, wut?!
Her death is an important part of the story. Not random but plays into the life stream and all that
This glitch involving 'disc changing' was actually doable with the game on console. Fun Times :)
i wonder what would be her texts during parts of the game that you party friends say something...
Eduardo Bertazzo she does have some dialogue actually
Eduardo Bertazzo Before choosing a party going into the crater, she shares Tifa's text.
Would it work on Switch?
No because the Nintendo Switch version is very different from the PS and PSX versions.
❤ hehe
I have a question. How do the game react when you have Aerith in your team and continue the game with her. I mean, maybe you can fight with her on every fight, but what happens during "cinématics" ( speeches, event that force Aerith to show herself like all these moments when your team have to separate... ) ?
Also, i think you cannot have "Bahamut, Aerith's best weapon, because you can't go at the ancient temple , don't have to go at the hotel at the golden saucer, and maybe some other things ?
Before going to gold saucer for Ancient Key.
That was cool. I thought this was going to be a bogus video. Thank you for showing us this :)
yeah but now cloud has to choose: aerith or tifa??
There are still some points in disc 2 where she will appear in the field map to say her own unique lines, but you can count those on fingers.
Yuffie is actually the strongest character in the game. Defence? Long. Range.
oddly enough, she has some throwaway dialog for when you crash your snowboard. i heard the same is true when you get the submarine, but i never saw it for myself.
but otherwise those glitches that force a reboot were rather rampant. lead to some interesting stuff compounded with debug room shenanigans.
@gonzaloffx2 Saga Frontier was released only in America... I'm not sure if it will the same effect with ntsc (american Saga Frontier) and pal (european FF7) version of the game. I don't know.
Wow how the hell'd you find this? Best discovery ever!
Does this glitch have to be done with Saga Frontier have u tried it with other ps1 games like maybe swtiching the disk to disk 2 of FF7? it was stupid that they killed off the healer from FF7 anyway its like killing Garnet from FF9.
Great Video! Thank You so Much :D
DId You do this from a file after the Temple of the Anicents Events?
I wonder if this could work on PCSX, I am going to Try Anyway!
@Eldimadri It's Aeris Theme from Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream Album : ) (ff7.ocremix.org)
Mīonikoi wrong
@@7641955 Provide proof.
Mīonikoi play remake and you'll see, listen to what the creators said in the interviews
@@7641955 sure sure. Just lend me a PS4 for educational reasons.
using sephiroth's own clone tricks against him. i like it.
*this reminds me of how super mario 64 glitches up when you load its save state while playing a diefferent game. seems a tad similar in concept.
looking at how this works could you get knights of the round super early? or would you still be unable to run over water and mountains?
what does this glitch have anything to do with a chocobo or icicle inn or anything regarding the disc
Can she read those things @8:24
its ancients writing that cloud can decipher
and your never able to have Aerith in your party to that point
without this amazing discovery
Quite interesting, good job :D But if u play PC version, there is a patch/mod (i dont mean save editor), where u just can have Aeris for rest of the game, she is in PHS all the time and she even has some dialogue lines/scenes added (u can see her standing in the Highwind or parachuting Midgar for e.g) Anyway worth to check :)
What?? How can be dialogue of Aerith???
I watched about 13 seconds of this video, and now I have a massive headache. But I love SaGa Frontier, so thumbs up, soldier!
i see, thanks a lot for the long explanation! she being alive eventhough only through battle time means a lot to me, i remember powering her up as much as possible and when she died, i was like wth!?!?
Eric L Totally perfect.
You man of culture as well mate
I feel the same way.. 20 years past away and still Aeris' death hurts me.. I played many many times (right now I play again) and I'm still not ready for it. I know the others may think it's stupid, but for me it's like loosing someone very close from family. Sigh....
Looks like Blue/Rouge is using Life Magic or the Time Lord's mucking with things again.
@jerijuana11 well no i have jenova which is sorta a trainer but it also has a party switch and i figured that if all the game required for the clone to work is for aeris not to leave the party when she has to then use jenova trainer to switch her off the party before she has to leave for the forgotten city
is there a way to permanently kill off Cloud?
i think yes , when cloud are in a chair for 2 week or something like that
Xodahs ShadoxLunik i meant to kill him off for the entire game. he is the worst main character with the worst back story ever. i hate all of his guts, but i still use him because he is one of the top 3 best in a battle.
imo you must find another skin for him , like for "replace" cloud by someone else
even Edward from FFIV would be better then Cloud... and even a change of skin wont change his attitude outside of battle.
Thank you for saving her
Does this only work on the US versions of the games or on UK (PAL) as well? I have Final Fantasy 7 (PAL version). Do I need Saga Frontier US or UK version for this to work?
It is Jenova, Sephiroth's real body is stuck in the Northern Cave. Though he is controlling Jenova's body so it's pretty much the same as saying he killed her.
Because of similiar coding allowing go further without game crashing. I tried many other games and audio cds before but unfortunately only saga frontier work. When you reach "the glitched area" with any other disc the game just hang.
can you still go to the temple of the Ancients?
If not, tough choice to pick save Aeris or lose Bahamut materia
The music right after the Jenova fight along with the sped up video just makes it so goofy.
does saga frontier have some of the game models in here?
What happens when you swap FF VII Disc 1 with a different disc, like Gran Turismo 2?
How on Earth did you figure this out!?!?
PS. Love how the climax of the song hits when you're adding her to your party :)
Does it have to be the first Saga Frontier? I want to test it on PAL discs, but can only find Saga Frontier 2.
A guy did make a mod where you can revive Aerith and he wrote her a complete script after her "death"
i have ffvii and saga frontier for ps1. Will this actually work on the console. For real will this work cuz it kinda looks legit?
So you can just swap discs on the original console? Or will this only work on the emulator?
Im assuming this only works for pc thus i cant do this for my ps1 ffvii?
