Yeah the place didn’t actually open as a theme park in the 60s, it opened as a Safari park in the 60s and Lego took the previous attraction over in the 90s, kinda like what they did in Florida with cypress gardens. In fact one of the coasters at Legoland Florida came from here when that park opened, whist a raft ride from Cypress was deemed too intense for legoland so it moved over to Thorpe park as storm surge. Legoland Windsor is very underrated as a family park with some good natural design. Some areas show their age but it definitely adds to the charm.
Glad you guys got all the creds at least. Shame you missed out on the flying theatre; it’s meant to be one of the highlights. Loved going there as a kid, the queues can be brutal though.
queue times are mental in the uk, i queued 50 mins for Rita at alton towers even tho it was advertised at 30 mins. hope your enjoying your trip to the uk and have enjoyed all the rides so far!
The apple fries look delicious and I will say Justice for the Duplo Dino Coaster✊🏻😂 He most likely has absolutely no chill because he’s just excited and happy you have 40K subscribers and well over 900 coaster credits.YAAAYY! But this park looks quite adorable and Emerald Park was my most anticipated park of the entire trip so looking forward to the next one💚🤍🧡
I love the Mini World and the live pirate show is really slick. But, as a dad, I loathe Legoland Windsor, because my son doesn’t want to walk round in wonder at the amazing Lego models and just wants to go on the coasters and queue forever. My favourite thing (doesn’t count as a credit) is the counterbalanced cable funicular railway (one of only two in the UK). Also, it only became Legoland in 1996, it used to be Windsor Safari Park. Totally agree on The Dragon … it’s certainly unique.
To be fair to the park it is the second oldest Legoland so it will have aged more than other Legoland's. but with that i think the main reason is just that Merlin owns pretty much all the big parks in the UK which just leads to them not having much competition and therefore not funding their parks properly to keep up Hopefully that changes if the Universal UK park goes ahead which seems likely, they'll finally have competition then and a reason to fund their parks more
You are a brilliant blogger, I really hope to see so much more after this trip! Can we assume you’ll get cred 1000 on this trip since it’s quite a big one?
Wow the wait times are INSANE, 30 minutes for the lamest coaster ever. i tought the wait at the legoland in Denmark was bad, there was only like a 35 min wait time for a pretty decent ziezer. also have fun in ireland!
To you maybe, but not for the little kids it's aimed at. Here's a tip, if you want high thrills - don't go to a Legoland park. If you're a credit wh**e then be prepared to ride coasters aimed at little children. 🙄
I think he's on the website coaster - count and it says he has over 950 credits as of this moment. Not to 1,000 yet though but definitely getting close.

Im your biggest fan
You should do wipeout at pleasurewood hills
@@CoasterDash 😑
It’s only been Legoland since the 90s, it opened as a zoo in the 60s.
Wow, I had no idea!
@@CoasterDash it was Windsor Safari Park previously - the only thing that remains from the old park is the Hill Train
Considering Lego is a European company, probably American Legoland's are the oddity when you think of it.
Very true! Hence why I was surprised to find that I preferred the two in the US over this one.

Haha I went a couple days back! The spider barrels is straight up the best fasted ride in the park! 😂

Very interesting! Thanks for the comment.
Glad you liked our parks in England, I have enjoyed watching you guys on your tour. Hope you enjoy Europe, there are some good parks there.
Thanks for tuning in! Lots to come 🫡
Hey Marc big fan, thanks for giving us these awesome povs, you’ll get to 100k soon.Keep it up!👍👍👍
I appreciate the support! 100k would be a dream come true 🙌🏻
When ever I hear the Coaster Dash theme song, I know it’s going to be a good video.

Agreed. We would’ve missed our flights if we had ridden that 😂
there are actually loads of legolands outside america, the first one is on billund, denmark where lego was invented
The Billund location is on my bucket list! Looks great 😎
That dueling family boomerang looked awesome!
And it was! 😎
The smaller Dragon was advertised for 20 min wait last Monday (12th) of August and then it was a 55 min queue in the 90°F (34°C) heat.
Great video! Those coasters looked fun honestly! Nice theming there! I really enjoyed watching this! Im really looking forward to the next Vlog!
Thanks Michael! An underrated little coaster collection, for sure.

The scariest part is when you said your plane leaves in an hour and a half 😮
Yeah, I literally made that flight with minutes to spare 😅😂
If you ever come back to the uk and go to Legoland here again make sure you do the ninjago ride it’s my 3rd fav in the park it’s so fun
Shame you didn't go on pirate falls. Best log flume experience
That looked great!
This is my true home park. I haven't been since 2018 but I loved it as a kid
It’s worth returning for Minifigure Speedway now!

It’s a shame you missed sky lion as imo it’s the best experience in the park
