Absurd chest pounding and "we are" chanting after beating up on a JV squad with a 3rd string QB. This team needs to play real competition to see their true caliber. Next week will be a good test. A slow start against the big boys won't work. They gotta get the fire early and stay lit throughout.
Your one of those fans. Now come next week when they beat Illinois, will it be because they beat them or will it be because Illinois wasn't good? They beat the team infront of them period. Their is plenty of times teams don't do that, ND vs NIU at home for example. Was it the best opponent, no. But they did what they needed to do against the opponent they faced.
