Apparently Garrett has become a model to follow, because in a Survivor ORG I was in, I saw someone try that same strategy in the form of calling the rest of his tribe on Facebook Messenger and openly wanting to talk about who to vote for...somehow, it worked for him better than it did for Garrett
To this day, I still cannot believe the way Jenny went out in Kaoh Rong. Like, she had it all figured out. Blindside the boys, form a strong three with Alicia and Cydney, be in a power position with at least one more person going out ahead of you (and likely Alicia goes ahead of her too, I think Cydney would side with Jenny if they go to tribal twice more). But no, she goes back on HER OWN plan and pretty much betrays every single person on her tribe. Stick to your guns, if you’re doing a blindside then do a blindside.
I expected that one too. I would never be for throwing a challenge but the way Drew went about it was remarkably dumb! Give Jeremy credit, for as big of a threat as he was seen to be, he didn’t actively sabotage his game to be voted out in SJDS. That’s the difference between both of their games!
If it wasn't for the Outcast twist, I'd throw Burton on there too, because not only did he tell Rupert, who was never going to willingly go along with that idea, that they should throw the challenge, but since he was incapable of sitting back long enough to observe who seemed to be working with who, he specifically mentioned that the two that should be targeted that round were Christa and Sandra, who just so happened to be the two people on Drake who Rupert was working with, and you can imagine how that went for Burton

What I don’t get about Tyson’s situation is, how did Russell know Tyson was supposed to vote Russell in the vote split? If Tyson was one of the three people designated to vote parvati, then Russell would be wasting his time convincing Tyson to vote parv. Or did Russell pitch like everyone to vote parvati and hope someone flipped, and we only got shown the edit for Tyson?
Caleb was so sweet and played one of the better games out of all the family members! Lowkey was my survivor crush and i’m just now finding out he passed away in 2014!!! RIP in caleb❤️
I think to a lesser degree Malcolm in Caramoan could be on here. He had a golden opportunity at the three amigos tribal council to get out from the bottom if he played his cards right. But he chose reveal their plan to get Philip out (a guy the majority didn't care if they lost), and failed to get himself off the bottom, and then went home next round. If he doesn't reveal their plan or idols beforehand, he could have the amigos only vote for each other and make it a no votes tribal and cause the majority to then cannibalize itself with paranoia.
Hard disagree! Ignoring what an awful person Russell Hantz has shown himself to be, they made the right move voting him out. Russell sabotaged himself by not learning from his past mistakes and the tribe was always doomed to fall with him if they kept him around. Sure, you can argue they still had a better shot with Russell than without, but I would argue keeping Russell around hardly benefitted anyone given how his first two seasons went. Redemption Island was a great case of karma and I am glad it played out the way it did!
@@JRJuggernaut1 I think the story of how that season played out is pretty telling. They put so much of a hatred into that man and once it was out that team went downhill fast. I'm not defending Russell's character by any means, I'm simply saying they should have prioritized people in their tribe differently if they wanted to win.
His return on game changers made me genuine question if he was the same person we saw on Blood v. Water but I also love that this is the timeline we got. It not only felt like proper redemption for him, but I was actually rooting for him to win this time around. For me Sarah is a deserving winner but I wish she could at least show herself to be more likable!
Imagine how unfair it would have been if Russell’s alliance had voted for Rob (they would have if he didn’t have immunity) and Tyson’s mistake caused Rob to go.
I never liked Alecia & hoped she’d go home asap because of how weak she is, she was absolutely garbage & nothing to her “brawn” tribe, but irked me with how Jenny seriously flipped twice & lost everyone’s trust, Alecia would’ve gone home had Jenny stayed with Jason & Scot
Sandra got eliminated on Australian Survivor. Before she got eliminated she bragged about how she had won American Survivor twice. Her two main tactics were: 1. Join a strong alpha alliance. 2. In the first few days try to learn as much as you can about all players. 3. In the first few days try not to stand out. Don't be loud, don't do a lot of talking, and don't order people around.
It’s crazy to me that Jenny approached Alicia BEFORE Cydney. Like of course Alicia will be on board, but if Cydney just shut down the blindside Alicia would have not had the knowledge she did to expose Jenny’s plan, and she could have just voted out Alicia 4-1
I'm not a fan of Russel, but he's definitely an amazing player, winning a 3 to 6 vote by manipulating Tyson and playing the idol he found, credit where it is due. As good as HvV is, that vote pisses me off. If only Tyson wasn't a moron in that moment, the alliance I preferred could have gone the distance instead. I would have loved a final 3 of Rob, Sandra, and a redeemed Jerri. But I'm a bigger fan of Rob and Courtney than I am Russ and Parv. Personal opinion, game went the way it went. One can dream though.
Russel did nothing this vote, I don't think Tyson is the type of person that would rather say "I played myself" over "I got played" so I believe him when he says he did it to himself.
@@Minecraftlover73 Then more reason for me to wish it went differently lol. He did talk to Tyson about Parv being a bigger threat and changing his vote. Ultimately Tyson made the final decision.
Yeah man I 1000% would have voted Garrett out. I probably would've stood right there in camp like "oh.. so we can't have any side convos? Okay well kass, j'tia.. I'm voting for this mfer I suggest y'all do the same"
It's honestly shocking that Hayden is the only BB player to play survivor, and NO survivors have ever played BB at all. Like they're owned by the same people, no? Especially with how well it worked out with Hayden like you would think they would have tried to get other BB players on. MTV is smart they been scooping up everyone for The Challenge lol
Ciera also destroyed her own game later on by HANDING it to Tyson. Siding with him at f7 (for a very dumb reason), and later giving him the idol clue. Boston Rob attempted his buddy system on WaW, and that’s the main reason he was in trouble after the swap, so he tried to step it up, which only made his vote off even more embarrassing. Speaking of WaW, Sandra handing her idol to Denise was one of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever seen. Her fanbase has tried to run excuses for it, but those just don’t fly. If JT gets ridiculed for handing his idol to Russell, Sandra shouldn’t get a free pass. Corinne in Caramoan also ruined her own game, by telling Dawn about her game plan. She basically blindsided herself.
Also in WaW, Denise made two huge mistakes. First, she immediately votes out Sandra despite the fact that she wanted to work with her, and could've been used down the line as a meat shield of sorts (similar to what Jeremy did in Cambodia). She also misplays her second idol for Jeremy at that same tribal instead of holding it. If she holds that, she has it for final 6, where she can pull a Cirie on Sarah and kick her off via auto elimination.
@@SmoothCriminal12 first of all, voting out Sandra was a GOOD move, to not only spare a fire token, but also split her up from her potential allies. Tony, Sarah, Sophie, Yul, Nick, and Wendell, from pre-swap, and potentially Adam and Ben, who weren’t exactly good with Rob. Second of all, playing the 2nd idol was an insurance, in case some of the others throw spare votes on Jeremy. Just because it didn’t happen doesn’t mean the 2nd idol play was bad.
Mike Holloway should be #1, yes he won the season and yes he’s a good player overall but his auction move and subsequent attempt to expose Rodney was the single worst move we’ve seen from a winner
@@casswashwash1070 again, Mike is a very talented player but the natural course of that season was leading up to a narrow Rodney win at FTC and the only reason that didn’t happen was Mike’s immunity wins
Given winners at war had multiple winners voted out for the first time, an interesting video would be players from seasons that have still not been voted off to this day…just off the top of my head the roster is pretty random (Albert from South Pacific, chase and sash from Nicaragua, Sabrina and Chelsea from one world)
Sandra made a mistake in overvaluing fire tokens it's not like she made a big gaf other than selling an immunity idol and Sarah basically swung vote herself out
The thing that infuriates me about Tyson’s elimination in HvV is it’s honestly Rob’s fault for not splitting the votes in a way that Tyson is set to put his vote on Parvati. I guess maybe there’s some missed signals on Tyson wanting Russell to stay over her but c’mon. Also I think it’s baffling that Brad thought “Caleb has no connection on the other tribe” was a valid reason when his targeting for the Rachel vote was dictated by trying to rattle Tyson into giving her his spot in the game.
i would love to see a part 2, largely because i want to see some takes on jeff varner throwing away his entire game with a single sentence in game changers

If he doesn't reveal their plan or idols beforehand, he could have the amigos only vote for each other and make it a no votes tribal and cause the majority to then cannibalize itself with paranoia.
The entire Zapatara tribe should be on this list for purposely throwing a challenge to vote out Russell.
Tarp and stuff too. They deserved getting soaked the rest of season.
@MrDuckphart and even then at the merge if someone overheard the Matt blindside plan and play their idol on him, they still come out on top.
I don’t think russel gets enough credit for that move it was by far the balliest successful move in the history of the show
I think he gets the right amount of credit.
It was a really slick and elegant move for a bulldozer like Russell.
Brad is one of my favourite players ever. Watching him throw out his game genuinely hurts
Honey! Peridiam’s got a new video on Survivor Wednesday!
Her two main tactics were:
1. Join a strong alpha alliance.
2. In the first few days try to learn as much as you can about all players.
3. In the first few days try not to stand out. Don't be loud, don't do a lot of talking, and don't order people around.
God If ORGs counted here I’d get destroyed I’ve done that so many times 💀
Ah yes, a worthy opponent
We've all been there, sadly. 😔
Who never played a idol on your ally and got yourself idoled out by one measly vote! Hahaha...
Not the Survivor ORGs! I would totally top Garrett....
Yikes… I’ve been there before.
PLAY THE IDOL, Is What The Survivor 46 Cast Should Have Done
I notice a surprising lack of badass manipulators of the game
Drew Christy
Zane
Sandra in WAW
Danni in WAW
Brandon Hantz
RIP Caleb
Yeah man I 1000% would have voted Garrett out. I probably would've stood right there in camp like "oh.. so we can't have any side convos? Okay well kass, j'tia.. I'm voting for this mfer I suggest y'all do the same"
It's honestly shocking that Hayden is the only BB player to play survivor, and NO survivors have ever played BB at all. Like they're owned by the same people, no? Especially with how well it worked out with Hayden like you would think they would have tried to get other BB players on. MTV is smart they been scooping up everyone for The Challenge lol
Drew Christy
Garrett Sold
How about Daniel Strunk and Chanelle
Haven’t watched yet but Joel Anderson better be on here
RIP Caleb, he would have destroyed a returnee season
Tyson destroyed also Rob's game. WIthout this error Rob had a great chance to going far in the game and winning.
Penner in Philippines if he had just gone with lisa/skupin, cao boi bringing up play voodoo,
Mike Holloway should be #1, yes he won the season and yes he’s a good player overall but his auction move and subsequent attempt to expose Rodney was the single worst move we’ve seen from a winner
This isn’t worst moves it’s destroying your game. Which did jot happen cause he won
@@casswashwash1070 again, Mike is a very talented player but the natural course of that season was leading up to a narrow Rodney win at FTC and the only reason that didn’t happen was Mike’s immunity wins
Honestly We need a new video of players who did the opposite of blowing up their game
Given winners at war had multiple winners voted out for the first time, an interesting video would be players from seasons that have still not been voted off to this day…just off the top of my head the roster is pretty random (Albert from South Pacific, chase and sash from Nicaragua, Sabrina and Chelsea from one world)
I would add Sandra from WaW and Sarah from Cagayan
It was the best decision for rob to vote out Russell because he was openly coming for him
How many of the 5 worst players in Survivor history were on Cagayan's brain tribe?
jeff varner on game changers…
jeremy dvg would be a good one
He crossed the wrong queen and she got him good!
I’m not even at # 5 yet but Lindsay (43) will be on here….
BRUH LMFAO AT #5
Wait, John was married to Candace? I thought she married Billy.
OOF!
Mmmmm, schadenfreude.
Brandon hantz?
i would love to see a part 2, largely because i want to see some takes on jeff varner throwing away his entire game with a single sentence in game changers
Naw he was toast regardless.
Hayden is the one who flipped on Brad not vytas
It was Vytas - Hayden crossed out Ciera’s name and then rewrote it
@@Peridiam you right. I looked at it wrong. He flipped on the 2nd vote after the tie.
No spoilers review, woot!
5. I thought they had a shot at winning, too, just because they were such a dark-horse kind of player, eh?
4. Siiiiiiiiiigh...all these years later, that's STILL my reaction to this one. And they AREN'T dumb, which is the frustrating part
3. To be real, I think those guys WERE rude, but people need to not flip-flop. Guess it makes for god TV, though.
2. Yeah, but I was fine with it. I always got "asshole" vibes from this one.
1. LOL, mildly unfortunate, but that's what you get for being heavy-handed. Hah, professional poker player, GET IT? "Heavy...HANDED"? Sigh...I'm sorry you had to read that. And I'm sorry that that mildly qualifies as a spoiler, despite what I said above.
How about a video of the most entertaining players of their season who will not or should not return to play again. Dan the mailman from Worlds Apart for example
Super fans ruin the show in my opinion they overthink and over strategize and grind the show to a halt trying to be entertaining for an audience that won’t give them that million
Is it just me or does Lindsay have Joe Biden's face? Seriously, someone shop that.
🦍🦍🐬🐬🌻🌻
Braun tribe was so awful. Absolutely the worst personalities in a single tribe. Made that season tough to get through.
I concede that Garett wasn't a good player at all, and didn't do himself any favours, but I have to say that voting him out before J'Tia was the most moronic vote I've ever seen, and by the so-called 'Brains' tribe as well. How can you possibly keep someone who has thrown out the rice? Especially when Garett was a challenge asset, J'Tia was the opposite, and previously Kass had even voted against J'Tia?
“If you enjoy it” We enjoy all your videos Peridiam. Let’s be real here
