MORISSETTE AMON Is a Filipina singer-songwriter, rapper, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, and television personality.
Born June 2, 1996, Minglanilla, Cebu City, Philippines.
Her family has always been into music, or musically inclined.
She was 3 years old when her family discovered her talent in singing.
She used to sing when she was left alone with a karaoke machine.
She joined her first singing contest held by a radio station in Cebu City
She first rose to prominence when she finished as a runner-up on TV5's Star Factor at the age of 14.
In 2012 she made her professional stage debut in the Repertory Philippines Production of Disney's Camp Rock.
Morissette became Asia's Phoenix Diva and a recording artist of Star Music in early 2014 and released her first album.
She is the first Filipino artist to have her own V-Live Channel, a popular South Korean live video streaming service for celebrities.
WISH 107.5 FM RADIO
Is an all-hits FM radio station based in Quezon City, Philippines and has truly gone out, beyond the conventional, to provide multiple platforms where great Filipino talents can perform live and showcase their music. This song: “AKIN KA NA LANG “JUST BE MINE” was performed by Morissette LIVE on Wish 107.5 Bus and had gained over 133M views on you tube two years ago.
PERFORMANCE
Though Morissette is sitting in this performance, but then she still performed this song beautifully. Her voice is in volume, calm, whole and well modulated. Her facial expression and body language is relaxing even in her towering high notes. Morissette is still able to smile while she is singing and project and felt the song with heighten emotional feelings.
SONG FACTS:
This song, AKIN KA NA LANG “JUST BE MINE” was published in 2015 and is written by Francis Salazar and is a finalist at the 2014 Himig Handog (Melody Offering) Pop-Pop Love Songs.
Upon listening to this live performance of Morissette, it conveys to me a kind of stability and deep reflection while fixing my focus in my mind on the lyrics of this song. Morissette natural and realistic facial aura while performing leads me to the message behind the song.
A lyrics of the song says that: she has a love feeling to his friend, but it is not possible to happen because they are friend, but what she did: SHE PATIENTLY WAIT EVERYDAY IN PRAYER THAT THIS FRIEND OF HER WILL BE HER LOVER. A beautiful attitudes and message of this song to ponder with.
Although it is only a lyric of a song but it is also applicable in reality in our human relationship, in our day to day lives. It reminds us all that we cannot just rush up things as it is, the way we wanted it, at all times in various circumstances, because if we do, indeed it is very risky to our life and to our relationship as well. Our life decision and choices we make every day which is done in rushing without any thinking and reflection is very dangerous indeed, I suspect that it might lead us to live a life of guilt and misery.

Just watched this video of yours and I was amazed how you both got astonished at her performance singing in her highest pitch voice. She performed live here at San Francisco CA a few years back at Yerba Buena Gardens sang some of her songs and when she sang that song "Akin Ka Na Lang" and my, audiences stood up sitting from their seats some on grass fields of the park went wild clapping their hands for about 3 minutes in bewilderment of her singing ability! She is really one of a kind singer.
