Totally agree, i recommend anyone trying to learn
I totally agree as well, I learn something new every video!
I am a student barber, It's been a thrown into the fire experience, because the school is also a full barber shop, not a whole lot of proper instruction on, how to cut hair, but excellent in learning the required knowledge to pass the BB exam. So I have been jumping from one set of videos to another searching for the best easy to understand break downs on how to cut hair and by far your channel has been the best. So thank you for this, it's really helping me along.
I'm a relatively new barber from Australia and came across your videos by accident while searching for new stuff to learn. Your videos are by far the best, easy to understand and posting real stuff that us barbers deal with on an every day basis.
Don’t nobody explain certain steps in the barber game like you do I appreciate the knowledge 💯💪🏽
REAL-TIME VIDEOS ARE MUCH BETTER WITH YOU EXPLAINING EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING IN REAL-TIME FOR US NEWBIES.
Mannnn i just became a FAN ! I needed this video BADLY ! Today was my 1st time in the shop. And I was having a hard time with this walk in with fine hair ! I got it done but I want to get better and fast at it ! This helped so much ! Ima subscribe !!! And watch more !
Never picked a set of clippers up in my life. I now fade my own hair & cut my friends last night to an ok standard. You sir, are a genius I salute your time, effort explanation & skills. Who needs barber school when there’s your knowledge
Long time watcher I started Barber school about 8 months ago and you have been a great help thanks
Stumbled across your page and must say you are by far the most detailed in explaining the process. I’m not a barber, I work in a corporate setting, and due to the pandemic I’ve been looking for ways to keep busy and saw a few vids and said this is it lol. I went el jamón hype-beast and bought the Andis Master, a trimmer and the Braun 9. In the begging I chipped up a couple of heads, but gotten better watching your vids. To me it’s a way to decompress and take my mind off of the day to day ish. Keep grinding B, appreciate your dedication.
Been watching haircutting videos for over 5 years and UA-cam Barber Academy has the best tutorial videos I've seen, HANDS DOWN! The attention to detail and the explanation of the techniques and process. Thank you sir! Much appreciated. I've found my home for cutting hair.
Not only do you love what you do and are passionate about what you do, you share your knowledge and care enough to help us become better and learn different methods I am a loyal fan and my hat goes off to you for being so selfless and passionate about sharing and passing on knowledge for others to absorb and use. Thank you for all your hard work and relentless dedication. A lot of respect goes out to you!
Your videos help me so much 😁. Whenever I'm in the shop and have free time I'm on your channel learning ✂️🙏🏻
Hello, I just want to say thank you for all your videos. I always learn something. I love how you recommend the blades. I have the andis with all the blades and could never find good videos with ppl using blades. So thank you for sharing. Take care. Keep coming with those videos ☺️🥰❤️
Hi Eddie. Did a fade on my son today. Using your techniques. It was hard but using steps and trusting the proces helps alot. After the cut he said that I am the best barber in the world 😂😂😂 It was good, still learning. Had difficulties after the 1 line. But next time I am going to use the half guard closed for the guideline. Thanks man! You help alot!!!
This page is amasing
Bro your videos an content is getting better an better I have watch many videos but you're the most intuitive an tangible I have seeing, thanks for Everything you doing!!.,🚫🧢🙏
I have fine dark hair on a super light scalp so when I was in barber school, none could ever get a skin fade right on me, so it kinda gave me a soft spot for people with difficult head contours/fine hair and I got really good at cutting those types of heads which in turn made cutting easy hair even easier.
You explain WAY better than other big you tubers. I fuck with you💯
man, these long videos with your clear explanation are so highly appreciated! nobody else is doing it as good as you do. thank you brother, god bless!
Thanks Eddie for showing and teaching us so much in our craft, I always learn some short cuts , your the best!
I buy 2 clippers and 1 shaver for my son to cut his fine hair now i know what im dealing with now iunderstand why because of his so called fine hair thank you man more power.
That hair is extremely difficult to fade. As you said the key is to retouch
His hair is the same as mine, very difficult to fade plus im doing self cuts!
Interesting that your second guide line is with the .5 closed instead of no guard open.. i will try this!
Congrats on your new born baby big bro
Making things look so simple
Good job Eddie ..always watching
Thanks for the video !!
Great tutorial and walk thru. I’ll donate soon. Really appreciate the lessons and style given to these videos
You get down bro! Really nice fading man! Love how you just teach us without asking anything in return bro!! ❤️
Awesome barber teacher you explain things really well good videos very professional thanks for making all these videos really helps allot
Dope video man thanks. Ur voiceover helped sooooooo much
Can you do a video on how to cut different type of hair like cutting hair on black people, lighter hair like blondes, etc. Please and thank you. Your videos are very helpful.
Nice fade
Thank you teacher. I want to come to a live class.
you are a triple OG. dnt stop you'll get 100 k subscribers
So, I understand you need that guide line but, have you tried not making it such a hard line? Have you tried going just below where you actually want the line to be and flick your wrist? That still gives you the guide line but it saves you time by not having to blend out or fade out such a hard line. I’m just curious.
Thank you for the video I am picking up some new things to try.
Thank you for the tip and the link on the wedge blade, I have some envy's that have been shelved.
Thanks for the vid Eddie. It would be nice to see a video of how clippers should be set up. I have a pair of masters and a trimmer that I thought was messed up and was going to toss them but hopefully a video like that can help. Keep up the great work💪
I appreciate you man you've help me out a lot, best explained how to & methods on UA-cam!
I don’t know if you’ll see this but I found your videos the other day and they are amazing. You do such a great job! I’ve been doing hair for 10 years and I have always faded from a 3 or 2 and down and I used your techniques today at work and it has changed so much! I do have a quick question though, I’m a single mom, I switched from a full service to a men’s only shop last summer. The tools I have were good for where I was but the amount I use them daily now isn’t practical. I need a whole new set of tools but $ is a issue. I’m buying a wahl finale, and I can’t decide on clippers and trimmers. There’s so many on the market it makes my head spin. If you had to choose one clipper and trimmer that would work for everything what would they be?
Clean fade bro !!
Can you put the actual guards your using at the time on your videos like as a subtitle ? Would help me remember it a lot better
Nice. But so time consuming. I usually have 30 customers a day and I pride myself on quality...but hard to keep calm when 6 customers are waiting on you. How do you deal with this? Or do you do appointments?
@@UA-camBarberAcademy does it work? I've always been scared off a system like that as you know yourself...guys take random approach to getting a trim, although most my custom is weekly skin fades. I suppose returning after covid 19 will have no option but to be appointment only...
Bro one if the best on Amy platform thank u!
Good idea about the clipper trimmer setup
Was that purple Guard you used at the end and Andis Guard or was that a wall Guard?
Love your vids! Can you a tutorial on an undercut with a bald fade?
Plz make a tutorial on how to make both sides of the lineup to match as well with the beard .
Great video
Those cordless clippers for fading look a lot like my dog clippers. Will dog clippers cut the same as regular clippers
Hey man, thanks for making me improve my fades .lot lot of respect always learning something from your vids...a question tho. I wonna buy me some good scissors any recommendations . I’ll be grateful.continue the good job you doing it’s 🔥🔥
Thanks bro...you such a blessing to the barbering industry...May God add you more knowledge 🙏
Whats a good detachable that wont break the bank.. not a barber just to do my own hair and kids dont need anything fancy
like your videos and already learning from it i have problem understanding clipper cutting though i m taking classes. what would you sgest
Nice work eddie. 💯 thanks brother
best video yet!! so much help and tips man
4 dislikes? Smh. Must be flippers. Lmao. Immaculate fade on that difficult texture Eddie. My brother has fine hair like that and as I'm sure you know, it looks fine in one light setting, but if it's in another you can see lines everywhere. Very nice job my brother
Hey Eddie, thanks again for another informative detailed educational video. I really needed this video man.. Going to invest in cordless clipper, which would you recommend? By the way, get some sleep. ; )
Please do a review of the $30 BriGenius foil shavers on Amazon. Thanks for the great videos. I've started trying fades on my kids' haircuts as a hobby because of you.
Nice! I used to use those photography box lights until I experimented with using just the stands and light brackets and screwing in 1,500 lumin flood lights to them. I then realized that was less bulky but too bright, so I went to home depot and got a dimmer that plugs right into the wall and then you just plug your lights into that and you get full control of your brightness. Best setup I've used if you are looking for a cheap and clean looking light setup. I'll send you all the info on Instagram if interested at all.
Richardvanburen Would you mind sending me a link as well! Thanks so much.

Thanks as always.
real good fade!!
Nice Cut Bro...where is your shop located????
Nice cut.
Can you put a 5 zero blade on that knockoff JRL? Also why didnt you just debulk with the volt if you were gonna make your guideline with it to?
How much mm did u use on the top? Nice explained!🙏🏼 appreciate it
Would you save time if you jumped from shaver into trimmer detachable into 5Zero detachable to Closed Clipper? Something I always wondered about. Maybe new video?
You're right about that oster volt I own two of them and I love them
@@UA-camBarberAcademy just try changing the blade bracket that holds the blade into place , it might just be that and that's only like five bucks at the most
Do you have a vid that goes into detail about keeping the clipper on an angle? You mention it quite a bit and I'm not really sure I fully understand what you mean.
you should show more or different video of using the braun series 9 more closer cause cant see the foils , looks like your going right into the guidline cause shaver is big ,i know your suppose to go leave a inch or half of space an go down or tap down to blend the bald line out thank you reach me back
I have very thin hair and i cut my own hair... And its a challenge everytime... Especially doing a mid drop fade.... And I have all these dents in my head... Shit is rough...
Great video as always, much respect.
Bro if you put the wahl wedge blade on the envys can you use the double magnetic guards?! That would make my life so much easier! I bought the corded envys kind of as some beaters to learn and get better but the guards that came with them are trash!! Also haha whats up with those heros? Im too beginner to want that airbrush but those trimmers though! :)
I tried making the guards that came with my envys magnetic but the magnets always detach. Ive tried epoxy and all kinds of things but no dice:( might invest in the nano 1's but dont plan on using the envys forever. Not sure if im really into andis tbh
UA-cam Barber Academy f
You should do a all detachable cut on a twisted top
Thank you 🤙🏽
Braun series 9 which one because there like 10 different one. So if can you please help, I'll by yours if I have to.
Hey Eddie
Hope all is good
Question ,
Is there a way I can send you some pics of a taper/fade I did ..
Maybe you can tell me where I went wrong :(
Email , Instagram, etc . I just want to cut just like you .. I think your fades, tapers, etc are super clean
So the wahl wedge blade will fit on the envy line of clippers/ us-1 without any modifications?
great video bro, thanks a lot for your advice and tips its helped me a lot. keep me in mind for the give away, lol. my apartment was burglarized and all my equipment I accumulated over the yrs is m.i.a!! been rockin with Walmart clippers until I can afford some more.lol. thanks Eddie
I don't have a Instagram but I'm gonna create one tomorrow, ill make sure to upload pics of my work. thank you bro for responding its made my day.@@UA-camBarberAcademy
Thanks bro your are the best keep it up please !
I got a full head of hair but my hair is more fine then his it's so difficult to work with
Can I use the Oster 76 blades on that detachable clipper you use to make the first line
Yes. 000 is like a master closed a 0000 is a little shorter and 05 is "shaved"
What about balding clippers ?
What cause the red spot at the end of the video?
Thanks for another video!!!!
Can you plz put a link to the jrl lookalike and the cordless compressor as well
Awesome video! You're very good at explaining how to cut hair. My teenage twin sons have reddish-blonde hair, so cutting their hair (I cut their hair) can be tricky especially when trying to get lines out. Their hair is red, blonde, and sometimes a little bit of white (from the sun bleaching their hair during the summer). It takes time, and, like you have said, having to retrace my steps to get any lines out really helps.
Wow you’re so amazing awesome
You are the best 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌹🌹👍
Hahahaha that lost of thought though hahahahahaha funny as he'll lol 😂😂😂
Help me alot godbless sir
Man I need that setup video been having trouble with it
when do you flick or scoop the clipper?
@@UA-camBarberAcademy thanks man.. also do you need to open and close the lever with higher guards such as a 3 or more?
Fucks wit bro!
Voice-overs or not as good as real-time.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
One of the best things about dude is that he never takes credit for himself when he achieves something. He always respect us, the audience, and his team, and he is always polite in all of his videos. We congratulate ourselves on this achievement. More to come and everything to come️️
Nice cut bruh..........get some sleep!
A couple of nasty irritations left behind both ears and above the left hand side very unprofessional having blunt razor or clipper blades no set correctly 🤔
