Ok theory, so you see how their talents got switched in Pirate Fairy. My theory is, what if the talent they ended up switching with was gonna be their original talent. When I was a little girl, Sil was my favorite character. At first, I only liked her because of her style. Now that I rewatched the movies and understand her personality and character, I love her even more.
Behind Tinker Bell and Fawn, Silvermist is my third favorite character out of the main six. She is innocent, silly and absent-minded yet she is still sweet, gentle, calm and sympathetic.

now that i'm at the Silvermist video i think in a way they have a couple of things in common 1: they shares half of their personalities (well her influences are between iridessa and Tinkerbell so that explains a lot) caring, understanding, kind, creative (in their own ways) clumsy, fixing things *(Silvermist with the friendship and maybe even relationships who knows and Tinkerbell by Tinkering and save things on time like she did with spring, oh and the car part when Vidia was captured)* both do more with their hearts then they do with their heads, both see things on the bright side, sympathetic, smart (at times) silly, is eager to help others out *(like in the 1st movie when Tink wanted to change her talent and Silvermist was one of the first that wanted to help her)* and observant at times 2: Silvermist is in somehow empathetic (or however you call that) because she doesn't like when others are sad, like in "secret of the wings" one when Tinkerbell broke her wing and Silvermist teared up with this just for examble but she's a water fairy so yeah 3: they both doesn't like when there's troubles (in Legend Of The Neverbeast even Tink wasn't so sure about the gruff one and Tink was nearly killed from an hawk and Tink did literally said in panicky "YOU HAVE A....HAWK?!?!" when she was at Fawn's house) 4: they both likes to listen to problems from others (Silvermist however likes to give advices to others, i don't know much about Tinkerbell but she's the youngest so i don't know if any of her advices are good most of the times since she sometimes do silly things more then Silvermist) 5: they both want others to be save (i remember Silvermist saying "Tink we need to get to the shelter, it's not save here" and Tink said "i have to find Fawn") 6: they both can't imagine what will happen if stuff happens otherwise (as in from dangers, Silvermist gave Tink and Fawn her sad (not crying) face after Tinkerbell told the 2 girls the truth) 7: they jumps into conclussions at times (Silvermist is obviously seen in almost each movies and Tinkerbell was noticed with Gruff and the baby hawk and i remembered the scepter part Tink jumped into conclussions and blamed Terence for it) 8: besides Fawn of course, Silvermist and Tinkerbell were the first ones who came in action to free Gruff before the others (iridessa, Vidia and Rosetta) showed up 9: Silvermist and Tinkerbell were the first ones that woke up after Zarina switched their talents 10: they both support each others in their own ways but they shows it very well 11: they both shows they are being be there for others (Silvermist shows it the most and shows the most that cares about others, like the times when Tink told everyone she can't fix things on her own by saving spring and Silvermist was the first one to help a friend in need, and Silvermist was one of the first who asked the Queen if Tink was allowed to go to the mainland, just like when Tink accepted her talents she didn't wanted to go there anymore, but Silvermist knew she deserves to go to the mainland after everything Tink has done, and despites a few bad traits from Tink she also shows she's been there for others a lot) 12: besides Rosetta of course, Silvermist and Tinkerbell carried Zarina (after Tink herself, iridessa and Fawn freed her) in "The Pirate Fairy" 13: while Vidia and iridessa didn't responded so well, Rosetta and Fawn responded the best of it, Silvermist and Tinkerbell didn't knew how to respond when Zarina switched their talents once Tinkerbell and her friends found out what talents they were having, they both were like "uhm okay what now?" since Silvermist and Tinkerbell got all confussed with what to do with their new talents (Silvermist had a good advice for Tink to use both hands to port the water and she listened to her advice) 14: they both makes sure others are okay (all of Tink's friends does, even Vidia and iridessa who has poor ways of showing it, but Silvermist (besides Tink herself) shows it the best out of all her friends, followed by Fawn and Rosetta, i mean Silvermist ALWAYS makes sure others are okay no matter what and no matter what situation everyone is in, she's not afraid to show it, she was the first one to calm Tink when she first met Tink officially, she even grabbed Tink's hands to get her back on feet, and i know with Tinkerbell she shows it the most too, with the Periwinkle situation but also from Fawn and Zarina's situation) 15: they have faith with each others and other friends (it includes the part when Silvermist knew who could help her to get extra pixie dust in "The Lost Treasure" i now know why she said that since she also comforted Terence about Tink's situation) i think that's enough but they have things in common in general, and it's no wonder her closest friends are iridessa and Tinkerbell since her character is between these 2 oh man Silvermist deserves her own movie some day!
I feel in the 2nd movie it was because of Silvermist that Tink and Terence befriended each other or well atleast stays friends after Tink and Terence argued about the scepter and later with the pixie dust😂😂😂 (well Sil sort of saved their friendships so Tink should be thanking her for that lol)

get her back on feet, and i know with Tinkerbell she shows it the most too, with the Periwinkle situation but also from Fawn and Zarina's situation)
