This an unreleased song she sang it at her concert, yes about the orphan homeless girl she met when she was 6yrs old who had no shoes, she gave her shoes to the girl after talking to her , Angelina named her princess and the girl said she can't be a princess because she had no castle and that she lived in ruins, hence the song "Princess of Ruins" Angelina asked her what she wanted to be when she grows up and the girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because her parents had passed away and she had to look after her siblings, Angelina told her to never give up hope, the girl asked Angelina what she wanted to do and Angelina said I what to be an artist and sing for the world, the homeless girl said I will pray for you everyday and you must remember me , since that day to now Angelina has sung barefooted at her official performances, she doesn't go barefoot at rehearsals or impromptu performances or as a guest at someone else's event. only her own official performances. she wrote a book about this experience when she was 9rys old and became the youngest published author in Norway the proceeds from the book go to children in need, she has sung at many children charities and helped to raise millions at different events. She also gave her winnings from Norway's got talent to Charities it is held in trust until she reaches 18 which is now. this experience in Angelina's young life had a profound effect on her . Her grandpa who passed on was a champion for the homeless and respected in the community and would take Angelina with him when she was a tot to help, since she has moved to LA she has been seen giving out meals to the homeless , she confirmed her vow to the homeless girl to her angel's , Angelina will do great things in her life her mission is to spread kindness and love and she has done that her whole life another reason why we all love her so much. After watching Angelina perform from the age of 6 to the present, my take is that she goes barefoot unless the venue or other authority at the site of the performance will not permit bare feet because of potential injury or other regulations (like places where food is served). But I have only seen her in shoes in rehearsals or places where the venue did not permit bare feet. Otherwise she is true to her commitment to give back to the children in need. I applaud and appreciate the humanity and pure spirit that Angelina exhibits. It is a beautiful thing to have a clear purpose in life and follow your dream with passion and integrity. Bravo! Angelina...inspiring to us all!
