Yeah it's definitely a good indicator of what to use. That being said it doesn't always work that particular day but have had pretty good luck sticking with that plan.

I like to drag, but shallow water drags and me don't get along due to all of the hang-ups and lack of consistent 10 foot water where I fish, so looking forward to your techniques. They are fun to catch shallow, those planer boards shoot off like being fired out of the gun.

Yep running lithiums. I can get 3 days worth out of them before I think about changing them. That's spot locking all day or dragging baits.
