HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO GOOD. THE ART?!?!? THE SINGING?!?!? THE ARRANGEMENT??!?! AGGHHHH
I had sooo much fun with the arrangement. I usually try to keep vicam songs just purely my voice IE. I sing for both Vic & Cam; But sometimes the voices get lost in each other (which makes sense, because they're technically both me, albeit with slightly different tones and stylistic variances). The original song has the singers sing the same melody for a lot of the parts, just an octave apart which doesn't really work when you're the same person HAHA so I ended up playing around with a bunch of different harmonies before finally settling on what you hear, which I absolutely LOVE!

I imagined where the female on the right is the knight and the female on the left is the princess. The storyline goes like this:
The princess has been cursed with reincarnation, this is like her 50th life. The only way she can end the curse is to find her true soulmate. The female knight just so happens to fall in love with the princess, but alas it isn't meant to be. The princess feels for the knight, but it isnt love, the palace is attacked and the knight and princess last words to eachother are "i could never choose to love another"
"Maybe one day I can learn to love you, too"
The princesses reincarnation cycle starts again.

I like that there's effort in making this stay a duet despite being one person. Harmonizing with you own voice without losing either sounds tricky.
