Thanks for making this video and for the great details on the disassembly process, It was a big help to get me started. Great job! One thing to add that happened to me with my drain tubes (see about the 3:00 mark in the video) was those tubes passed down around the rear window sides and BOTH were completely collapsed (pinched) by the molding clip. As far as I know this has never been apart before and I believe it was a mistake by Nissan when assembling the car. I had to cut out about a 2" piece of the hose on each side to eliminate those bad spots. I used a short section of 3/8 plumbing PVC water line hard tube like you can get at any plumbing store as the repair splice section with some sealer and zip ties. Maybe this will help someone else whose Coupe came with this problem. So much water had accumulated over the years, finally a dry interior. Check your rear floor footwells for water, I found this by accident when fixing something else back there.
Thanks a LOT for doing this, I was trying to fix a weird jiggly sound coming from one of the back seats but I was afraid about how to remove the panels, this really helped me to do it confidently!
thanks for the video, it was very helpful. I had a leak on the drivers side from my sunroof drain tube which i used a plastic hose to clean out , not a good idea. when you use a plastic hose to clean out blockage, you risk disconnecting the drain hose at the roof which happened to me. To start disconnecting the pillar remove the sun visor screw first then the the other part of the visor after remove the weather stripping on the door frame. there the edges of the pillar are exposed with a screw driver pry the pillar edge to snap it off once off carefully unsnap the pillar. if you pull down slightly on the roof, you wiil see the drain hose. check to see if it is disconnected from at drain connection. if it is , slide back in and place a small tie wrap to keep secure. Sorry for long explanation , hope it helps your problem. Peace
I just bought a siphon hand pump from amazon, filled up a bucket of water then disconnected drained tube thats connected to plug in firewall. Connect the outlet side of siphon to the firewall plug, then put hose from inlet side of siphon into bucket of water. Then just pump away till water comes out from outside of vehicle. I did all 4 corners for the low low price of 19.99 hahaha

Thanks a lot for your comment. That didn't happen to me (phew) but if I run into this in the future I'll know what to do thanks to you!
Have water collecting on my passenger side rear and it looks like this is the perfect video for me to start it off. Thanks!!
Great vid! Thanks Yass! I used some plastic weed trimmer line to snake the front tubes. BTW, sometime these front tubes kink right at the firewall.
Plastic weed trimmer is genius! Also, good to know about the kinks at the firewall. Thanks!
Good idea with weedeater line! I will try this
Great video. Thanks for including sizes of the bolts
