Thank you so much ! i've just started working in UX and there so much negativity out there. I needed to hear your story..I hope you look into mentoring =)
Hey! Yes, whatever field you came from, look for companies in that same field and see if they have a tech/design team. There is a new video up where & go depth and I answer a similiar question!
Love your video just subscribe❤ want to change career path but don’t know where to start . Will check your channel for more information Thanks for sharing 🙏
Hey friend, found your video researching about bootcamps. I have a question, if you don't mind. Do you find that in your current role that you do a lot of research/surveying? I love design and I HATE the research aspect. I just want to design beautiful applications. I'm worried getting into a bootcamp I'm going to be bored when discussing the more research based topics. Any thoughts?? thanks!
Hey! So I don't do any research at my job because we have a UX researcher on the team, which is very lucky because not every design team has a dedicated researcher. So boot camps will have a module or two dedicated to research but it's not the main focus. I went through Springboard and it was more of a holistic approach with not a huge emphasis on research. Also, I hear you on not liking research but there are parts of researching that I do like, like competitive analysis is kind of fun. I would just review the boot camp's curriculum syllabus to get a better idea of how heavy on research it is.
Hi! I stumbled across your video because I feel lost and stuck. I’ve been actively and desperately seeking a career path to take! UX design is something I’ve been researching for the past few months. I have no experience whatsoever, but it’s something I’m interested in. I don’t know where to start. What are your thoughts? Is it good choice to make even though I have no experience or a degree?
Hi! I think it's a good choice depending on the person, but it does provide a lot of growth opportunties. There is a new video up where I answer a similiar question!
Hi thank you for making this video and feel like most videos about Ux design are so negative. I’m about to finish the google Ux design certification, how long do you think it’ll take to land a job?

Thank you girl! And congrats on taking the leap, you got this!
Do you have any tips for those of us from non-traditional backgrounds (NO degree)? How do we make ourselves more attractive to the company?
