Feeling the burn of those downstrokes... I can relate to that. Sounds great.

40 years ago the ultimate metal amp was in production and NOTHING has exceeded it to this very day. The Mark IIC+ is the END of the quest for the ultimate crushing tone.

It is the holy grail, however the quality control and the engineering back then was a bit weird, so you don't always get the Hetfield version, but some sort of flubby tubby thing that isn't very good. Same with a lot of Rectifiers. The Tremoverb was the shit, and then there's other revisions are just poopy and dull.

@@mattvdh the reissue 2c is tighter than the og 2c-according to two respectable UA-camrs-another you tuber bought the vii and has been been playing his reissue more he says it's addicting---------btw on a cheaper amp-John Petrucci in his vid on the v-25-(with the creator of mesa boogie) was super impressed with it vs all his amps that says a lot of this little monster another UA-camr agrees (Tone wars) ua-cam.com/video/NHc5JFcdVzM-/v-deo.html--in the end jp and tone wars have settled on the jp-2c--I say if one can't afford these very expensive amps go with the v 25-imho

@@guitarwilly81 Versus the HRG, it's like compare Triple Rectifier and Dual Rectifier. just a little bit more controlable. better trade of between the HRG and SRG, it's more * sweet spot* it's all in the feel. Same crushing tone for sure.
