Hello, Many people say in the comments that I fear the way I will be treated when visiting Iraq. I answered him with the following reply. We do not hate any nationality in the world despite the strange things you hear about us. We are a peaceful and friendly people. We are glad to see tourists in our country. We will not take money from you. When you buy something, the doors of our homes open to welcome you, you are welcome and we are glad to have you 🫵🏻🤍
This is the perfect representation of the people we met. Thank you for this comment

If you're still in Baghdad make sure to visit the national Iraqi museum, it has priceless artefacts from the most ancient civilization
Thanks for the recommendation!
Only the brave tourists go to Iraq. Huge respect to you.

That's not true, more than 20 million people visited iraq the last year only.
Not that speciale anymore 🤣
Saying "hi" from a Filipino based in Iraq.

Thank you and your friend from the heart for showing the true face of Iraq and that Iraq is a safe country and not as the media portrays it. We are a good and generous people and we love foreign tourists.
Thanks so much for watching!
Very good perspective on how Baghdad is today. As an American I would be too afraid of how I would be treated to visit this amazing historical country . Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
Everyone we met was really pleased to see us, despite everything that happened the people are warm and welcoming! Thank you for watching🥰♥️
You have the right to be worried because of what you hear in the media. However, it is totally a different story once you arrive.
I honestly don't think that the Iraqi people cares where you come from, what nationality you are. They have more important business to deal with such as re building their country, promoting tourism, earning a living etc etc. They are an intelligent race and the majority are quite liberal and tolerate.
Do not be afraid, you are among your family and brothers We don't even hate the Jews. We are a good and tolerant people, and you Americans are not our enemies...Ron v
People are kind and peaceful.
Being a new travel vlogger, I would love to visit this ancient and beautiful city someday! I wish! Thank you for this 👏🏻 beautiful Baghdad.

4:15 Molly, it's interesting to me that you find the "Ali Baba" monument to be "so random". I'm sure you know by now that Baghdad is home to a number of historical landmarks and monuments, each with its own unique story to tell. This particular monument is the statue of Kahramana, a symbol of resilience and strength that stands tall in the heart of the city. The fact that it was built five decades ago is a testimony to the talent of all Iraqi artists. I don’t think there is any other Arab country that showcases a contemporary work of art depicting a female heroine in the middle of their streets. The statue of Kahramana is more than just a piece of art; it is a powerful symbol of hope and inspiration. It serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a brighter future. As Iraq continues to rebuild and move forward, the statue of Kahramana will remain a beacon of hope for generations to come.
I love you from Iraq🇮🇶
We welcome you to visit Iraq 🤗❤

I don't think that you can't visit
@@mohammedkh4321
I can’t because one of the conditions to get the permit is “ providing a valid reason for visiting Iraq” which is vague and many people I know got their requests rejected and when they asked informally differed some will tell him that because he has no first cousins in Iraq or he is under the age of 40
I would really love to visit Iraq and inshallah I will but now financially I’m not ready
Growing up in Iraq Farida was the bear to drink!!! You brought back so many memories thank you for this video.

Alshaheed monument was designed by the late Ismail Fattah Alturk, but it was executed by the Japanese. As for Kahrumana statue ( or Marjana, as she was named in The Arabian Nights) she was the bright maid of Ali Baba who stumbled across the cave (that opens with the magical password Open Sesame) where the gang of 40 thieves hid their treasures, and after finding out that the treasures were taken away by Ali Baba, they tried a camouflage by hiding inside 40 pots, and were introduced into Ali's house by their boss who pretended to be a merchant passing by asking for a place to sleep at, but that scheme was discovered by the smart maid Kahrumana who poured hot oil into the 40 pots. Nice work you got there covering different Iraqi landmarks 👍
Thank you!
Wonderful to see no hassle or people wanting stuff. Guess there aren't many tourists who go that far. Awesome video 😎😎

Just found your videos on UA-cam while searching for ones from Baghdad. Great. I will probably be going to Baghdad in about 2 weeks from now. Just waiting for my visa. I am from Norway and therefore I will need one. Did you have a driver/guide for your whole trip or did you also travel around by yourself? If you should choose 2 places outside Baghdad, which one would you choose? I am a woman 60+ traveling the world by myself 🙂
Hey! That’s amazing. Good for you. We had a driver and translator purely for ease, making videos and trying to navigate checkpoints is more difficult so we’d recommend having someone to help you out. You can contact the tour company for help on your trip if you need to 🥰♥️

you know I just stumbled on a Podcast by Shawn Ryan with Cody Alford and watched it, it really opened my eyes and I think people should watch it,
Cody mentioned a story with Great pride about Douglas A. Zembiec and I Quote "Major Zembiec was a man amongst men, he was called the Lion of Fallujah, before we went to the city he stood in front of a tank and he said that the dogs of Fallujah will go fat of feasting on the dead bodies we laid to waste, and that is exactly what happened, I actually saw a dog with a Hand on it's mouth."
