I always find it very odd when people refer to these videos as guides. I mean sure they provide some information as to what to do but its more meant to be an entertaining showcase rather than an actual guide. I mean you don't see me showing the location of each and every secret in this game (like a guide should) not that I take any issue with someone using it as a guide but I personally just don't understand it.

Great video. Watching it reminded me of my time getting the platinum for The Aquatic Adventure of the Last Human. Not similar games but the difficulty and some of the trophies game a similar vibe. When I got it, it was pretty rare, I'm not sure if it still is.

@@GawdlikeMatt The game is an underwater metroidvania that has a huge emphasis on boss fights. The game is pretty hard. I got sold on it cause of the pixel art though.

Congrats man! I totally get where you're coming from with how easy you can die in this game. I wound up hating the game because of it and I was playing the Xbox 360 version which didn't even feature nightmare or survival lol. I'm glad you at least liked the game though, I wish I did, but death felt too cheap and frustrating in it for me.
Funny I platinumed this game just a few weeks back. Nightmare difficulty took me more attempts than I would've liked. The issue was Act II, as it is so much longer than Act I or III. And oddly, despite getting every trophy, the alternate ending did not unlock for me in the PS4 version.
Had to utilize a UA-cam tutorial for the Survival mode trophies. I feel like if you don't stand your ground in that specific spot in the top left floor of the map, it's damn near impossible.

I did in fact platinum off screen, the reason for this is because I was so sick of dying in stupid af ways because of a single moment of distraction whether it be from trying to read a comment or just paying attention to chat in general or just my own brain fog fucking me over I became so sick of the nightmare trophy and decided to go hyper focused (no talking) and I honestly didn't think watching me sitting there quiet would be entertaining for you guys, I just wanted to get this done so I could move on so that's why I didn't stream the success run. This game made me realize that sometimes it's better for me to do that especially if a challenge is taking too long for my liking.
