It´s so awesome that when i watch the video it feels like i´m there or skyping with you! It really feels like you are directly talking to me.. but then i rethink and remember that you´re just sitting there on your own and talking to a camera! makes me smile and it must be funny to see. Nice to see somebody else (especially someone like you) enjoys changing strings as much as i do. I find it really relaxing and also makes me feel like 'bonding' with the guitar like i'm taking care of her. You're an awesome person Rob and always enjoy your video's (even though i'm a bassplayer myself)!! Best of luck and greetings from Holland!! :)

For someone with jet lag, your eyes seem to be quite wide open. I recon that's all the experience and memories from your tour. We may be on the same wavelength. I also have jetlag today. And also changed my strings. However mine was self induced jet lag. I stayed up all night setting up my brand new 2016 Gibson SG Standard T. It took me hours to set up intonations, bridge height etc. It was well worth it. My drummer came over at noon, and we came up with a new song. I always love your guitar playing Chappy! Cheers!

I always like these relaxed banter videos.
I re-strung my "old" Marlin acoustic (a 1987 MF/CAE), also made in "good Korea", with Martin 10-47s last Sunday and used the slack measuring method you previously showed, the finger depth pull at the 12 fret. Just one of your subtle influences. Now my old guitar is what I call "boingy" again. :-)

Not pointless at all Chappers. For an intermediate player such as myself to get some insight into the thought patterns of a more seasoned player is very valuable indeed. You do the things I'm working on just with a lot more experience, which is reassuring to me because experience comes with time.

This format is great. I like the random topics and insight in this video. BTW.... Those pickups you got from Schecter..... LOOK A-FRIGGIN-MAZING!!!!
I know in the music world sound/tone is what matters, but I am a very visual person and frankly those are the best looking pickups I have seen in a long long time. (other than maybe some hand crafted wooden ones.)
I am really hoping to see those Chapman guitars here in Arizona. I know Phil McKnight has talked to you at NAMM and I know he is working on those Victory amps as well. I think it will be a great thing for you all.....but even greater for me, as I feel, I require some of what you're having.
Thanks for all the videos you put up.

Oddly enough, though I love Billy Corgan's guitar work, I'm more influenced by his vocals. A lot of people hate it, but I love unique voices and he's so aware of dynamics and just a great overall song writer. His new signature guitar is SICK too. I'm glad you guys all got home safe and I'm looking forward to the new Dorje, Toska and your solo record brother. Also, NYXL's last forever. I tried them because a friend had suggested them and I've had the same set on my Rhoads for three months and they're still solid.

I'm a D'Adario man myself, using 10 - 46 nickel wound, round wound strings. The correct order from low to high is as follows I think
    Brass
    Red
    Black
    Green
    Purple
    Silver

That was pretty cool: I yawned, and then Chappers repeated after me!

Reached Paragon 350 on Diablo 3, nailed the lead parts in Opeth's Burden, time to celebrate with the return of Chappers. That ghost fret is looking and sounding great with the Warpig.
