This is a wonderful speaker and certainly preaches very powerfully. However, I don't understand how UPC can dictate to the women about hair. The Bible clearly states long hair is a glory to the woman - it does not say a glory to God or the church and if you read on in conclusion, it says that if there is any contention, there is no such customs in the church. The same way Peter wanted the Gentiles to keep the traditions of the Jews but he was corrected by the Lord. I respect UPC and they certainly have the freedom to believe as they see fit but I am glad that salvation is extended to as many as the Lord our God shall call and salvation is not limited to UPC and their beliefs. I do appreciate their dedication and powerful preaching and singing that is definitely anointed and from the Lord.
Louise Barrett Well Mr. Barret not that I want to dispute with you in anyway but verse 10 in Corinthians saids that the glory of the woman is the power and the angels are looking to see of she is covered which covering is meaning not cut ..now verse 15 its said that it is honorable that the woman let her hair grow verse 16 is meaning that the contentious is the custome that we should not have in the churches that we should not be disputing and just obey God's about men having the hair short and the women letting her hair grow long ..now verse 5 Paul ia giving a example that if the woman's hair is not covered which means un cut then Paul is putting a example that it seems like of was shorn meaning short and it finishes by saying its a shame for a woman to shorn or shaven her hair becuase that is the distinction that a man should like a man and woman should look like a woman...especially whem rhwy prophesied...blessings!
