I hated this about my 2008 Coyote swap. Let’s fix it.

Using an 11-14 full exhaust system on this 2008 Coyote swapped car has its pros and cons. Biggest con was the tail pipe hanger differences in the years and not allowing the pipes to be in the right place.

You said that you have an 11-14 cat back, couldn't you just use the 11-14 hangers too?

Maybe, but this car being budget and having a welder this was a less than an hour solution

You can, the rear hangers are the same location when I measure it to the donor car I used, but the front hangers are 2" forward on the 11-14, hence why they stick out on 05-09. I ended up drilling a new hole 2" forward both side for the front hanger and fed the bolt through the inside with a magnet and put a lock nut on the bottom. This setup lets me use any 11-14 axleback.

It would have been easier to retain the 05-09 axle-backs plus OAPs and use 2.75" to 2.5" reducers to link them to the 11-14 mid-pipe.
