There’s more to being a disciple than having faith in Jesus. That might sound hard to believe, but that’s exactly what Jesus said. A disciple is a person who observes all things that Jesus has commanded (Matt. 28:19-20). However, most Christians don’t let the Bible get in the way of what they believe. They compartmentalize their faith so that their Bible beliefs have only a little influence over other areas of their life. If your attitude, doctrine, or worldview doesn’t line up with the Word of God, that needs to change, not the Bible.

The word of God is not secondary. It is primary. It has direct applications to government, law, politics, social issues and morality!

Its interesting to hear you talk about "making disciples" after "making converts".
After 28 years of being a Christian, I have had a young Christian woman ask me "to disciple" her.
Whilst I said "yes", it occurred to me that actually I have never been "discipled" - even though I have belonged to churches who offered bible teaching.
Also interesting too because I was assessed as having the "gift of exhortation" and "mercy".
I've recently purchased "spirit soul n body" and "God wants you well"..
Thank you for the extra gifts you sent... so - here I start.
Interesting considering what my life looks like now. Hmmm

Man, watch movies or tv shows from 20 years ago and there are so many jokes or nods to how homosexuality is wrong, or affairs are wrong, and it's almost cringe worthy because we are being conditioned to "agree" with the diversity of "lifestyles" and we are not used to hearing any push-back anymore. It's interesting that this shift has happened so quickly. But, in the end we all know it's just the birthing pangs of End Times...
this should be interesting to see how you avoid grieving the holy spirit by some of your derived dogma - like the biblical timeline - which was benign in the past - but is obviously incorrect, and never a message intended to be described as scriptural.. New listeners need to watch for this in upcoming episodes in this series.. Andrew has a few incorrect dogmas, and he needs to listen to the holy spirit on this.. biblical timeline theory is more of an opinion and a weak one at that
I’m born again & I believe the word of God. I know these things are sin. BUT what are you supposed to tell a gay person who wants to receive Jesus; that they can’t until they stop being gay?!! THAT is living under the law! That will turn them away from God! I know so many gay pple that want nothing to do with God because they feel they were born gay and cannot help it. How will they learn if Christians are telling them that they are sinning & cannot be accepted by God, OR that if they don’t stop being gay after they accept Christ, that they will go to hell. We are now under a new covenant of GRACE. And I believe that EVERYONE gay, bi-sexual, trans, straight, black, white etc will go to heaven if they accept Christ as their savior, even IF they do not stop being gay, bi etc.
AFTER we are born again God looks at us thru the blood of Jesus and sees our REBORN spirits! He does NOT look at the flesh or the sins of the flesh.
I am NOT advocating sin, because sin has bad consequences, BUT GOD said He will remember our sin no more! Past, present & future sins.
I believe you can tell a gay person that its God’s will for them to be free from that demonic force, that they have the power & choice to get free. BUT I believe even if they don’t they will go to heaven.
