I concur - the "live version" is much more fun and powerful; the first video was - as you pointed out - very artistic but in a much more staid, sedated way that lacked the power of the second. Amazing what having essentially unlimited money to employ the best of the best - backup dancers, singers, musicians and a sound stage that had to cost millions to build - and now goo gobs of money to employ people to operate it - can do! LOL Good for him - if any performer in the world has made the sacrifices and manifested the utmost dedication to his craft in his never ending quest to reach, dream the impossible dream - perfection - it is our boy - Dimash! There's a reason that he fills gargantuan stadiums - and brings in what must be truckloads of money with his concerts - not to mention his records - he shines like the brightest star - in the constellation of performers - that one (I at least) can / could imagine. By the way, I really like your approach of showing the various versions from different times and places - to help give us a broader perspective - as you did with Diva Dance and now here. I live in NYC and it kills me that when he gave his concert here at the Barclay Center I didn't know about him back then so I could have gone in person. It was sold out to the best of my knowledge. And, as someone here mentioned - he also did Screaming there in a real live performance.
The second Screaming was from the online concert in 2021 and he did his absolute best to instill the same energy as you would get in the live concert but an actual concert performance of Screaming has to be seen to be believed as it sometimes goes on for 20 minutes with Dimash giving each member of the band credit and a chance to do a solo and then him evading security and leaping from the stage down into the audience. The best one is definitely the New York concert closely followed by Dubai where he's merrily striding around the floor singing and carry a Dears child on his shoulders! He's got the nickname 'Security Nightmare' for good reasons. 🤣🤣

Dimash always performs this song differently every time. He usually ends his live concerts with 25 minutes of Screaming where he improvises a lot and connects with the fans and also introduces his teams, plays drums etc..

I do hope Dimash is recognised worldwide simply because in my opinion he is far better than most popular pop singers in the world.
The live performance was from his digital show during the pandemic. Screaming is a very energetic song he normally uses in his concerts to introduce his band and all dears can sing and dance with him. You should have a look at his concerts, they are mindblowing.
If you want to see more urban pop from him, check out “Be With Me” this song you really need to see the official music video, it’s amazing!!! Also his live performance of “Give Me Your Love”. Careful with the title, because he also has a song called “Give Me Love” and one called “Your Love” 🤣🤣. They are great songs too. He has other pop songs like “Fly Away” which is kind of a European EDM vibe. He was born to be on stage. He said in an interview that during this pandemic he realized he was 100% a performer, he missed stage and the live connection with the audience. He’s so much fun on stage and definitely shows all his energy and strength on stage. I was in NY concert and the end of the concert you could tell, he just didn’t want to leave the stage ☺️
Janelz, I would like your perspective on that concert: I read many comments from ppl who were very disappointed with the NYC concert even walked out early bc the experience was not pleasant mainly complaints about too many bright lights facing the audience& you could not see Dimash performing bc you were blinded by the lights,too many busy lights that distracted from focus on Dimash,the sound system was off& the choreography was poor,too busy& distracting& they continued to dance in front of Dimash which is a huge no-no bc the star you want to see must always be seen,not a background dancer.
@@maryb3620 I don’t speak to too many people in fandom however I sincerely haven’t heard bad comments about the concert. Maybe the people you heard didn’t really have a good spot, maybe seats too close to the side of the stage and close to speakers …that’s the only explanation I can think of. I really had a magnificent experience, his voice was incredible, out of this world. Must of the time he was in what the call “cat walk” of the stage and the dancers in the back of the stage, so it really didn’t distract me. The only thing that distrected me only one time was this kind of fire works coming up from the stage but it was done only in one moment. My husband went with me only to accompany cause he was not a fan of his music and in two occasions even him was in tears. Not sure what others experience was but mine was incredible and you could see the same reaction from people around me.

I went to a concert of Dimash in Germany in April this year and I can assure you that he really sounds so good and that he is very friendly to all the people in the audience and that he enjoys himself just as much! He is also constantly singing and entertaining and goes out 3 times to change, but is back very quickly. And his voice and energy remain from the beginning to the end of the concert. I love the live version you watched from his Digital Show, that was a show he gifted us during the pandemic and seeing the clips with Dears from previous concerts was both surprising and emotional. His Digital Show performance is so energetic (even if there was no live audience) and I love both the band and his vocals. Fun part is, if you watched any other live performance of this you would see they are all different, never the same. Screaming is a great song live, his concerts are a roller coaster ride, you got the emotional songs, some songs where the entire arena is silent just taking it all in, songs where the crowd sing along, songs where you want to dance and then it can end like a rock concert with a song like Screaming.

@@StrateleStudios Definitely, but you should know the Bastau version (which I think is the best) is very short, so sometimes reactors will do that one, plus either Confessa+Diva Dance from the Singer competition or his duet with Li Yugang. In the Singer one, Dimash sings a shortened Confessa song first, then launches into Diva Dance. In the duet, he sings with a male Chinese opera star that sings in a traditional female style. It is very interesting. Their performance is a combination of Diva Dance and the song Drunken Concubine. Also, in this latter one Dimash hits a very high whistle tone. The Bastau performance is definitely better though as when he started that run from low to high the sound producer wasn't on his toes and although you can see Dimash singing the notes they are not picked up by the microphone.
@@Darling_Nicci I don't think so, I heard a clip of Dimash singing the whole thing in a university performance where the sound quality wasn't amazing, it was filmed from the side of the stage with a phone, and he did it perfectly. This was way before the Singer so it's obvious that he was more than capable of making that run as he'd done it before.

Every performance is different. You chose the Dimash digital show version which is beautiful, but it was done during the pandemic and there was no audience. Please watch a version from his live concerts where he usually goes in the audience to make security crazy and his dears euphoric!

I love the video and also the live version of Screaming which has become the Dears song because Dimash likes to sing along with us and get closer to his audience at the end of the concerts. The live version is from his digital show during the quarantine and they use images of Dears during several concerts. He has made several versions of the song, perhaps the most popular being Screaming Idol Hits 2019 and Screaming in Beijing 2021.Take a look, they are fun (both on his YT channel)! One Dear said once in a comment that she/he felt so sad for Dimash not having an audience because of the covid. True - when I look at the concert videos, I can see how he absorbes his energy from the listeners, especially his fans.

He was born to be on stage. He said in an interview that during this pandemic he realized he was 100% a performer, he missed stage and the live connection with the audience. He’s so much fun on stage and definitely shows all his energy and strength on stage. I was in NY concert and the end of the concert you could tell, he just didn’t want to leave the stage ☺️
Janelz, I would like your perspective on that concert: I read many comments from ppl who were very disappointed with the NYC concert even walked out early bc the experience was not pleasant mainly complaints about too many bright lights facing the audience& you could not see Dimash performing bc you were blinded by the lights,too many busy lights that distracted from focus on Dimash,the sound system was off& the choreography was poor,too busy& distracting& they continued to dance in front of Dimash which is a huge no-no bc the star you want to see must always be seen,not a background dancer.
@@maryb3620 I don’t speak to too many people in fandom however I sincerely haven’t heard bad comments about the concert. Maybe the people you heard didn’t really have a good spot, maybe seats too close to the side of the stage and close to speakers …that’s the only explanation I can think of. I really had a magnificent experience, his voice was incredible, out of this world. Must of the time he was in what the call “cat walk” of the stage and the dancers in the back of the stage, so it really didn’t distract me. The only thing that distrected me only one time was this kind of fire works coming up from the stage but it was done only in one moment. My husband went with me only to accompany cause he was not a fan of his music and in two occasions even him was in tears. Not sure what others experience was but mine was incredible and you could see the same reaction from people around me.

I went to a concert of Dimash in Germany in April this year and I can assure you that he really sounds so good and that he is very friendly to all the people in the audience and that he enjoys himself just as much! He is also constantly singing and entertaining and goes out 3 times to change, but is back very quickly. And his voice and energy remain from the beginning to the end of the concert. I love the live version you watched from his Digital Show, that was a show he gifted us during the pandemic and seeing the clips with Dears from previous concerts was both surprising and emotional. His Digital Show performance is so energetic (even if there was no live audience) and I love both the band and his vocals. Fun part is, if you watched any other live performance of this you would see they are all different, never the same.
Screaming is a great song live, his concerts are a roller coaster ride, you got the emotional songs, some songs where the entire arena is silent just taking it all in, songs where the crowd sing along, songs where you want to dance and then it can end like a rock concert with a song like Screaming.
And it's a beautiful last song ❤️😁

@@StrateleStudios Definitely, but you should know the Bastau version (which I think is the best) is very short, so sometimes reactors will do that one, plus either Confessa+Diva Dance from the Singer competition or his duet with Li Yugang. In the Singer one, Dimash sings a shortened Confessa song first, then launches into Diva Dance. In the duet, he sings with a male Chinese opera star that sings in a traditional female style. It is very interesting. Their performance is a combination of Diva Dance and the song Drunken Concubine. Also, in this latter one Dimash hits a very high whistle tone. Love your reactions and your appreciation of Dimash!

The Bastau performance is definitely better though as when he started that run from low to high the sound producer wasn't on his toes and although you can see Dimash singing the notes they are not picked up by the microphone.

@@Darling_Nicci I don't think so, I heard a clip of Dimash singing the whole thing in a university performance where the sound quality wasn't amazing, it was filmed from the side of the stage with a phone, and he did it perfectly. This was way before the Singer so it's obvious that he was more than capable of making that run as he'd done it before.

Every performance is different. You chose the Dimash digital show version which is beautiful, but it was done during the pandemic and there was no audience. Please watch a version from his live concerts where he usually goes in the audience to make security crazy and his dears euphoric!

I love the video and also the live version of Screaming which has become the Dears song because Dimash likes to sing along with us and get closer to his audience at the end of the concerts. The live version is from his digital show during the quarantine and they use images of Dears during several concerts. He has made several versions of the song, perhaps the most popular being Screaming Idol Hits 2019 and Screaming in Beijing 2021.Take a look, they are fun (both on his YT channel)! One Dear said once in a comment that she/he felt so sad for Dimash not having an audience because of the covid. True - when I look at the concert videos, I can see how he absorbes his energy from the listeners, especially his fans.
