I enjoyed the video and it wasn't too long. You have a nice collection. I don't have any of those books. Most of the books I read nowadays are on Kindle. I have books on an artist’s discography but I use them as a reference and I don't really want to know their opinions about songs and albums... although I do respect Martin Popoff’s opinions. I prefer biographies but I do have a habit of reading half then getting distracted and forgetting about them. As I’m typing I can see the Bruce Dickinson autobiography and Frank Zappa Electric Don Quixote both of which I haven't finished. I re-read The Last Train to Memphis about Elvis recently. The last time I read it was about 30 years ago. At the moment I reading the Ian Curtis biography written by his wife and I am reading We Are The Clash which was in part inspired by your recent series. Rob Halford’s autobiography is on my wish list.
*Apologies for such a long video but if you are a fan of music books on Zappa, The Monkees, The Beatles, Kate Bush, Bowie and many more please watch the whole video and remember to leave a comment and thumbs up the video. Most of these books should be available on Amazon or local book stores such as Indigo/Chapters.*
I missed this video somehow. Those Every Album, Every Song books you have shown through the years have always interested me. I checked Amazon just a bit ago, and I ended up buying the Kindle versions of Electric Light Orchestra, Badfinger, and Warren Zevon. I look forward to reading these. I went with Kindle versions as it is just easier for me to read that way vs a physical book. I just wish there was a Beach Boys book, as I sit and wait for my Sail on Sailor Super Deluxe box set to arrive.
What a fantastic library of music books Larry . I must check out a few of these for myself for Christmas ........This Wheel's On Fire by Levon Helm, and The Byrds by Johnny Rogan are also highly recommended
I think Martin Short is great as well Larry, his Jimminy Glick character and also his take on Jack Frost in the Santa Claus 3,"I invented CHILL!",he makes that movie Larry, check it out. Bob.
Larry....If you sell me those Bowie books for a dollar, I promise I won’t sell them for more than $4.00..That guy selling your books for $5.00 was so disrespectful..I love the Zappa The Big Note book..What a great resource for Zappa fans…I want that Caravan book..it’s on my list..I wasn’t aware of that Monkees book!!! I need that one Larry..great video Larry..👍❤glen

Christopher Guest fans should definitely check out the old National Lampoon comedy albums - notably National Lampoon's Lemmings, That's Not Funny, That's Sick, and Greatest Hits of the National Lampoon. CD and vinyl copies can be found on eBay. Guest did some hilarious impersonations of Bob Dylan, Mr. Rogers and others.
Thank you so much for the high praise for our Monkees book!

There was an excellent book about Paul McCartney and Wings in the 70s, called Man On The Run by Tom Doyle. I recommend that to anyone reading this! 👍👍
Yes Ben I enjoyed Man On The Run myself highly recommended
I loooove that orange Zappa book! I own it too and MAN, it’s so extensive 😀
