There are so many lessons in this video Evelyn. Not only did you show us a great technique for disc binding, but how you approach challenges is a masterclass! Nice job!!
This is so interesting. Now I look at the spines on my books to see if I can determine which is stitched and which had pages individually glued. What an awesome technique. Thank you for sharing this.
Wow! Great video! Ive always wanted to know how to do that. Sometimes coloring the corners are a challenge and everytime im wish i had more of a flat surface, and ir doesn't look that hard to do. ❤thank you
Hey, Tanee 👋🏾🤩 Thank you!! If you want to cut down on time, take it to a print shop so they can remove the spine. But if you enjoy DIYs, then go for it. It is always good to see my coloring fam in the comments.🥰 Have a great week & happy coloring!🤗
Hi hun great video you done a really great job.. i couldn’t do the disc bounding my colouring books.. it looks scary and the fear of making a mess of a colouring book.. but it’s interesting to see how it’s done thank you for sharing hun ❤❤❤😊😊😊xxxx
Great video, this will be helpful for my Kerby books. All the pages are falling out from 2 books 😂 I won't even need the heat for the glue. 😂. I can easily pull them out. I only have a 3 hole punch. But I will figure out another way of doing this. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏼💛
Thanks, Dawn!! Well, at least the hard work is done. No heat is needed. 😀 You can still use your three-hole punch. Maybe you can find three rings to fit and hold your book together or put it in a 3-ring binder. Thanks for watching and chiming in!! Happy coloring!!🤗🌻🌻
Thanks, Cheryl!! I had to Google the Zutter binder. It looks complicated. 🤔 So, I understand why you don't know how to use it. 😀 If you try this, let me know how it works. Have a great week!!🌻🌻🌻
Yes, it does 😁 When I started this, I lacked patience. But the more I do it, the more my patience grows.😅 After each step, I take a little break (clean up), but once I break down a book, I usually keep going until I complete the task. It doesn't take long; once you get going. I find it relaxing, too. Thanks for watching and making me smile! Have a great week!🤗🌻🌻
Hi Evelyn! Thank You very much for Sharing this Wonderful Video. There is a lot to this, but I feel it's worth it! How many pages can you punch at a time? I am so ready to do some of my books! Have a Wonderful Day My Friend 💜💜
Hi, Sherry! Yes, there is a lot to it. And I agree, it is worth it. Good question. The puncher has an 8 sheet capacity. I think I can do 3-6 pages (could be more), but the number of pages you can punch depends on the thickness of the paper. I don't count the pages; I might need to start. 😀 I usually go by how it feels and fits. Thanks for watching and chiming in! Let me know how it goes. Enjoy your day, too! Happy coloring 🤗🌻
Hi, Ji!! Sorry, I got your name wrong in the video, but I know now.😀 Yes, I enjoy disc binding, and I am grateful for your helpful video. Have a wonderful week & happy coloring!🤗🌻

Thank you! I have been meaning to try and pull one of my Kerby books apart. I would not have thought to use a heat gun. Great tutorial.

@@EvelynColors I did give it a go. It was a bit of a disaster, but used a colouring book I wasn't keen on.
@cherylscolourjam Okay. It's good you tried it on a book you weren't keen on. Thanks for the update!
This requires a lot of patience 😅 I would have to have taken a break and come back
