Hi have a real problem and can not find a solution. for example, as soon as I open the demo show in GrandMa3, beams, gobo and spot are displayed correctly. As soon as I click once again on the 3d window, all beams and spots disappear and the lamp only lights up (like a LED fixture) without producing any beams. I can't undo this either. In the render option all beams etc. are activated with over 100%. Can someone possibly help me? Thanks and greetings
Thanks for the video. As for the difference between a group fixture and a group of fixtures... I'm afraid I don't get it. I mean, okay, when you select a group of fixtures, you select those and not the parent group object in the tree. But what does this imply, in practical terms for programming ? Is it somehow like selecting subfixtures/cells/instances of a fixture instead of the super/master/main fixture ?
Lots of missing details. For example I had to pause and watch the video 15 times before I could know how to set the label for group. A lot of things are done and not explained.
I'm sorry you didn't like my video. I would like to offer you to take my basic online course. Registration is free and you have access to 9 lessons with setup information. Maybe you will find everything you miss in this videos and let me know if I could help you further. Check out www.fiets.de
For everyone who is stumbling upon this in the future: that is most likely due to missing highlight values in the fixture type. In your patch options, go to "fixture types" (left panel of the patch), select the fixture type where the highlight is not showing up and define the necessary values in the highlight column. These are the values the fixture's features will be overwritten with when selected and highligh is turned on. You probably want the dimmer, shutter and color values to be modified in order for the fixture to be highlighted as white.
Give it 1 1/2 -2 years MA3 will be on most big tours. The possibilities are endless, i was learning MA2 the last 6 months and finally just started chipping away at a show file, it’s a fun experience.
Hello do you already know where to select the Midi Device? Unfortunately I can't find a way... Midi keyboard etc. Under Export only USB sticks are shown, unfortunately no Midi devices.
@@12xx12100 Now I have the info from MA Support. It is currently not possible to select Midi device via USB. Currently only the Midi Din socket on the console and the CW3 are working. Thanks for the hints.
@@12xx12100 Shortcuts are not finished yet and should come with the next updates. Also the possibility to control the hardkeys via Midi like with the 2 will come later. Cancellation Support MA

how do you open the command section?
If there were more washes in the show such as X4 that start at 301, would these still be under the Wash group that starts at 200?
how can I make a chase from a quelist with a bmp button
Thanks for the video.

Is it possible to create a custom, "User fixture" ? if so, how?
go to gdtf-share.com and lock in at the GDTF Builder
Thanks your tutorial!
I don’t see the point of patching fixtures into a group other than just making the group
It's worth start learning MA2 or go to MA3 direct?
depends on what material your going to use. i only know one technician in my range who has already a ma3, all others are still working on MA2
if you think about future, you have to decide what will be the material around you.

👍
Hahaha when these videos are better than MA's own videos
