If you want a cheap easy fix for those rusty rockers, there's a company(can't remember the name) they make rocker covers. Was going to get some for an 02 we had but decided to sell the truck.

Yall need to mix up some diesel and used oil, put it in a sprayer and coat the underside of everything on that truck, bottom of doors, bed, cab and all the suspension. It’ll prevent the rust from taking that truck from you boys early!
That truck will be loyal AS FUCK to you guys....my best truck I got for free outta the deep woods way worse than that dodge.....I had to lock it in 4x4 to get it out once I got it started just to get it out of the earth that had swallowed it! Wish everyday I hadn't sold that beast! Was a loyal ass fucking truck!
Grind that shit down use a wire brush and then use some of that black rust inhibitor your paint it on and it’s done if you want to fix it properly buy you a replacement outer rocker panel 12:53

I believe there’s someone out there who sells plastic replacement rockers. Otherwise LMCtruck should have steel replacement rockers and whatnot.
