Thanks for the informative tutorial. How do you store various sections of your leaders, i.e., the three-way section, the dodger/flasher, and the sliding hook trap rig section…before fishing, during fishing, and after fishing? I prefer trolling for halibut even when live bait is available because I can cover more water those pesky bat rays and sharks tend to not be a nuisance like they are when drifting live bait. That said, I have a tough time recovering and storing after a day of halibut fishing. To be honest I end up with a bit of a mess.
I wrap them around a pool float noodle.trolling is very affective.i used to enjoy the live bait it's more relaxing drifting but the last few years it's a clown show waiting in line to get it ,just too many people. I try to be where everyone else isn't and do my own thing.
