    I so appreciate the teachings of the truth! I don't care for things preached that make me feel good. I feel good with the TRUTH and Honesty of what GOD says! "I and my Father are one." Jesus IS! Peace Be Unto You All with Love and GOD Bless! Jane

    As a grand parent Ive been clueless about these software devises, what an education from watching this video. After I got over the shock, I've passed it on to several of my friends who have children and grand children. Thank you Moody Founders and Josh McDowell for sharing this timely and insightful program.

      New Testament Church of Brandon Florida I share this thing every now and then. Don't think many are really interested. I just shared it again tonight saying it should be required viewing for all parents.

    I used to be very very addicted to porno for years and yet I claimed myself as a born again Christian... But for all these years I felt shame every time after I watched porno and I wanted to stop really really hard but I couldn't, the addiction was just too strong. However about 4 months ago I fell down on my knee and I prayed hard to Jesus saying that I don't want to offend you by watching porno anymore, please save me and give me a new heart that is free of lust, and from that instance the Lord answered my prayer and indeed turned me into a new person, and I broke free from the chain of pornography. My dear brothers and sisters, pray with your full heart and honesty to our lord Jesus Christ, he will give you power to overcome anything!! Praise the Lord!!

      AMEN Brother! I did the same thing and He delivered. Paul in Romans 7 explains the struggle between sin and our will. Only God's power through the Holy Spirit can KEEP us sanctify from our sinful nature. We can NOT change our desires...only God can.

    An important message from Josh McDowell about the tragedy of internet porn which he considers the biggest problem facing the church. The stats are mind-boggling.

    Josh should not be the only one spreading this message ... churches throughout America should be discussing this ... being too embarrassed to discuss pornography will only lead to disaster for our young people.

    I watched about 15 minutes of this at Bible study a few weeks ago and I was just disgusted and blown away. I mean I knew it was bad but wow, this bad? But anyway I am glad I found this video so I can watch the rest. If I can stomach it!

    Josh, I'm a huge fan of Dave Ramsey, but several months ago I heard him answer a woman who was asking how long it will take her husband to get over the addiction of pornography. Dave said he didn't know, but guessed two months. And he said this like it's not as big deal of an addiction. It bothered me so much. Will someone who knows him please get this video to him, so he can grasp the seriousness of this addiction and its effects.

    I had a friend who decided to not talk to his daughter about sex, He was going to tell when he thought it was the right time. A coed church sleepover a guy she barely knew got under her blanket pull down her panties and had sex with her. She let him because she was to naive to stop him. She became pregnant on the first time. She had the baby and knowing the family even with this they will not explain to her about sex. As a friend before this I told him he better tell her or something was going to happen. Josh you are right as you are right about everything you have ever talked about.

      You don't have any friends because of your love of yourself and porn. Satan has you right where he wants you. Go to the back of the Book and read what happens to all the liars

    This is a very interesting subject to think about, my father who Is 43 yrs old came up to me one day and straight up told me he would buy me porn magazine's, he's a councilor at my church, just knowing he said that makes me question alot of things about religion and faith and how we go about on the internet

    This guys comes across a little condescending especially about women's attitude towards it. My best friend in junior high tried to introduce me to pornography. It made me too uncomfortable, thankfully, to hook me but I remembered those images for a long time. She didn't watch because of a boy but because she's was a) curious b) and aroused by it. Women can have serious addictions

    I'm not trying to be mean, but this is probably the worst talk on pornography I've heard in a while. Where is the gospel here? Where is the hope that we have in Jesus Christ? What I heard here was a bunch of scary statistics about pornography (some made up) and that Josh McDowell will be the ultimate savior of generations to come by convincing parents to educate their infants about sex. McDowell shows no love for anyone struggling with pornography, and he seems to dismiss women's sexual desires with respect to pornography altogether. He makes it seem like his way is the foolproof, easy fix to mankind's struggles with pornography, and all we have to do is go to his website. How amazingly convenient! There is a way to incorporate statistics, truth, the gospel, and hope when talking about pornography, but Josh McDowell certainly does not know how to do it.

      I'm curious. What stats do you think were made up?

    • @zwall11
      @zwall11 9 років тому

      ***** I guess I just don't like when he puts his own projections on the statistics. Like 13:50, "I bet it's actually___now" type of thing. Anyway, the statistics weren't really my big problem with this talk. 54:45 only showed me that he made a conscious decision to leave out the gospel in his own talk because, "I'm sure the other speakers have talked about setting Jesus as a sight before you." Wow, how encouraging (especially after he probably made anyone who struggles with lust/pornography feel like trash). And not everyone else is getting the full context of the event either. Christians need to keep hearing the gospel as much as anyone else, especially with tough topics like this. I didn't comment on this video to start a debate, so I think I'll be done after this post. God bless

      Yeah, that's the problem w/ porn; they already feel like trash. But they can't leave it. They keep coming back. Like a dog to its vomit.

      Here's the problem. We can't accept the fact the humans are naturally driven to pass on their offspring is in our nature. It only make sense that Christians suppress this natural tendency and are more likely to turn to pornography to release their inner instincts. I don't approve of pornography because of its objectification of women and paints a fake picture of the love between two people. Love is an emotional, physical, and intellectual connection between two individuals. One night stands will only lead to a life of solitude because that individuals feelings towards sex are centered around the physical connection itself and neglects the emotional or intellectual connection which are foundations of love itself. Once each foundational building block has been establish they will love the person not only because of their physical attractiveness, but the for the fact that they are interconnected and have formed a stability at the emotionally and intellectually.
