To be fair, she had every reasons to. She didn't really beat the game if she want the real ending, she have to beat it again on a higher difficulty. It can get pretty fun if you like this kind of game though.
This remind me when she spend a lot of times to beat San.. Subaru not a great gamer, but she has a huge determination to finish a game even it takes a lot of time.. Imagine if she play Souls game in the future..
Pretty insane, she took longer than Miko to beat this game, its true that she dosn't play platformers that much but geez this was one heck of a journey, can't wait to see her take on more Mario games and maybe other platformers.
It always feels hilarious to me that so many Hololive girls are so ridiculously bad at this game, in ways I didn't even think it WAS possible to be bad at one of the easiest games on the planet. I mean, I can still beat Super Mario Bros in 17 minutes. A half hour without warps. And it takes some of them like 3 weeks? Bruh. Just, bruh.
@@rabiroden I didn't know that! I knew that the original Dragon Quest was known for being entirely in hiragana due to character limitations, but I didn't think that they would release a game in a different language to save space!
@@01100101011100100111 Oh yeah, some games even just used Romaji to spell their text out. There was no standard, programmers were just doing whatever worked, lol. I wonder how actual Japanese end users felt about it all.
0:56 She got so happy she started flapping her wings XD
Her confusion at being told there's a second quest followed by her just plain noping out of it is gold.
Completely understandable, too. I never liked games that told you _Congratulations on reaching the end! _*_Now do it again, but for real this time._*
@@01100101011100100111 imagine if she played ghost and goblins
It should be noted that she completed this game with "no warp", "no continue", "no save" and "no infinite 1-up" bindings.
I am afraid yes Subaru, you need beat Super Mario Bros Games twice if you want the real ending.
Subaru training paid off... Reminds me of the time I did the same... All those days of training just to beat a game 😂
Ah good ol' memories, the first game I've ever cleared 😊
I love how paranoid that she got that it might not be over 😆

The strength of Subaru's voice makes the juxtaposition between her celebratory shouts & hesitation at the end even more powerful.
Subaru remembered the words of Korone "Have confidence"
did subaru got an model update? i think she got cuter
A lot of members became more expressive! Watame also got an update. From what i can see, they can no stick out their tongues
Yeh, her prev models have some rigidity to em, guess it works out now
NES games are just unfair
NES players were trained in the arcade
By NES standards, SMB1 isn't just fair, it's downright gentle.

Handholding gameplay with Luna and Noel
That is one happy duck!
3 weeks of wonderful ASMR
Our beloved Shuba duck finally did it

Mario really humble Subaru out like no other game did
Sweet sweet victory
So happy for her lol :D Now she needs to complete the negative world lol :D
Am I the one thinking Subara looks great in her new design? with more 3D model.
How Long Will It Take Her To Beat The Lost Levels!
As long or longer than Koyori's probably.
So going for Lost Levels next?
Subaru finally escape brain damage
Maybe this time she would actually scream when she plays Don't Scream lol
She has drained all her Mario buff on MariPa last night, wait until she restocked on Mario World 2z

I'm curious: why is she playing the English version of the game? Surely there's a version with Japanese, right?
both ntsc releases of the og super mario bros are the same rom
Nope, the Japanese version uses English too. It wasn't entirely uncommon in those early days since the English alphabet took up less space.
